Where will you be my darling? Where will you be when the dark is rising?

Okay, thought I'd give a rundown of my events the past week!
Last week on Friday I went to Lot 1's Kbox to celebrate Hui Fen's birthday with Koh Wee and Yao Qi. Yeah, Kbox. Can you please stop laughing?! Lol... I sang a few songs, and I sang terribly. Well, that's my opinion. They said I sang alright, but you know, no one says "You sang like crap" in front of your face. Just like I don't say "You suck in basketball" to a really lousy player. Anyhoo, I'll let you be the judge. I just recorded myself singing a few days ago, and if I've got reasons to, I might just let you listen to it. That's if you don't mind bursting your eardrums.
The weekend was cellgroup and service as usual. Pastor Kong shared a nice message. Quite an eye-opener to the earth and government policies.
Monday I was sick so I missed the first day of school. As my dad wanted me to stay at home, that means I missed the prayer meeting too. Aye.
Tuesday ITE had no school as we received some IBM award from Harvard related schools. So all 11 campuses were off! So because of that, I went to play basketball with Nicholas. We finally had a rain match! Means playing basketball in a thunderstorm. I don't count drizzles and light showers, because they're just nuisances. I dropped off my stuff at Nicholas' place and took off my shoes. Then we went to Esso Court to play. It was still dry when we reached there, so we took a few shots until the rain started pouring. At the height of the thunderstorm, lightning was flashing barely a few hundred metres from us. Heh! Call us insane but that just makes it more fun. Playing purely for fun, trying to score while the rain batters your eyes, slipping and sliding, running like idiots in the rain, aye, it's just fun. Plus, you don't need to worry about sweat, 'cause its really cold, and your shirt doesn't smell bad. It just "smells" wet. Of course there's a few downsides. The ball gets heavier and you shoot with more strength, which disorients your shooting skills for a short while. Second, your underwear gets soaked. You better have a change of clothes! We played for around two hours, enjoying the pouring rain and lightning all around us. Would be freaking dramatic if we weren't so busy playing basketball in a thunderstorm. The only people crazy enough to join us were the street soccer guys, who were as good as playing in a partially filled bath tub. I think there'd be a new swimming pool if there was no drainage system there. I also got to show off my tattoo! Playing in the rain dragged down our shirts so we played topless. That is, until a group of secondary school students came by with two pretty girls and three gay guys who screamed like girls.
We went back to Nicholas's place after the rain stopped and took our showers. Played a bit of Tekken 5, then we went to Causeway Point to meet up with the rest who were going to surprise Wei Yu for his birthday. Nich and I bought a $17 cake. Ouch, my wallet stings. Wilson, Ronald, Joel, Zameer and I went off first to find a place at Pepper Lunch all the way at Ang Mo Kio. Nicholas would then innocently bring Wei Yu there thinking only he'd be there to celebrate. Well everything went as planned, and we sang Wei Yu "Happy Birthday" after we finished our meals. Great service there too. Also we brought Wei Yu to buy his FIRST JEANS! The guy's never worn any long pants except for school uniforms. The first time he went to Orchard was with the Magic gang, and he wore a shirt with kittens and bermudas -_-. So his jeans cost about 50 bucks, from Giordano, split up by some of us. Oh yeah, there was a really pretty girl while we were buying Wei Yu's jeans. She was wearing an M1 shirt, and she went there to buy a black spagetti strap top that exposes the midriff. Sorry, too much info? Couldn't help it =x.
Wednesday I finally went to school after such a long absence. Great to catch up with my class. Quite a bad combination of teachers though. I went to Clementi ITE to pick up my black dragon wristband from Yao Qi and meet up with Koh Wee to attend my first music lesson in a month, due to a lot of stuff =/.
Thursday was another school day. Not much, except after school Yang Sheng and I hung around Causeway Point, buying earstuds (he's finally got them) and stuff. I lost my earstud while taking a shower -.-. Went down to Yoshinoya to eat a meal and I bumped into Jasmine, who's still freaking cute. Found out that a lot of guys know her as the "cute Yoshinoya girl". HA! We were served by a freaking blur girl though. -.-.
Friday had no school so I went to Koh Wee's house to play Magic cards. Been a freaking long time and I lost a lot of matches. Freak. Destroy land, destroy land, destroy land. AHHH... DAMN MOUNTAINS. My Phage also never got to come out. Neither did my Reiver Demon. *PUI* mountains! And damn that DOG!
Speaking of which, I was reminded of a really funny flavour text. "A man who reads a thousand books is wise. A man who memorizes a thousand books is insane." LOL.
I've been bleeding a lot too. While chatting in Windows Live, I realized a few blood streaks on my bed. I realized my leg was bleeding. -.-. Then at Koh Wee's house while playing Magic on the floor, there were a few blood streaks on the tile floor. Source? My leg again. -.-.
Went for cellgroup meeting after that. Had people slain in the spirit and holy laughter.
Saturday I went to make up cellgroup meeting to accompany Karnex. Jonathan Fong and Juswin also came along. It was at Dorcas' place with Cindy Leong preaching. Later, Juswin, Jonathan, Karnex and I went to Tampines Mall to eat and just chill out. Had a very enjoyable time fellowshipping with them. Of course, we played in the arcades too!
Service later was great, with Pastor Tan preaching. He spoke a really good word on making a difference in people's lives, one by one. The words that still ring in my head with passion: "For that one, it made a difference." We live our lives everyday, always focusing on the big picture, big dreams and aspirations, but we tend to forget the little things. The small things that make a difference for one person.
Went to Marina Centre to fellowship with N337 after that. Great time fellowshipping with them also.
Went home, went online and dropped to sleep. Craps! When I woke up today, I had to say sorry to a lot of people who opened conversation windows with me and I didn't reply. I never like to ignore people, whether purposely or in ignorance. Hmmm...
Anyway, here's some pictures of Wei Yu's birthday!
Wei Yu in the middle, in between black and white! Haha! His cake's got two big candles and eight small ones. !!!
Wei Yu wearing jeans for the first time in his life. Miracle! And while walking he's still gawking at them -.-.
Here's the majority of the Magic gang. From left to right: Zameer, Ronald, Nicholas, Wilson, me, Wei Yu and Joel.
