Where will you be my darling? Where will you be when the dark is rising?

It's amazing how sports and chocolate (and cute girls) can take your mind off things.
Yesterday I grabbed a Snickers bar before playing basketball. It's proven scientifically to boost serotonin, some mood enhancer in simple terms. Then I went to Republic Poly to play basketball with Nicholas and Wei Yu, and thankfully, today we had more company than just Chinese nationals. Had quite a few RP students playing basketball at the courts and we joined in. Played a few matches, with a core of 5 people. Around 10 people came in and left off during the hours we played. Anyway, there was a cute girl named Serene there, and yeah, she just brightened up my mood considerably, 'cause she was really cute and sweet, yet a formidable opponent in basketball for a girl. Her friends also cheered me up quite a bit, 'cause they were all humorous people, and kept up with plenty of jokes. Somehow, fellowshipping with strangers with pure fun and games makes you forget about so many issues on your mind. All the stress, unhappiness and haunting pasts just disappear when you focus on the game.
I also credit God and my friends with this. Last week I had barely prayed at all, yet when I was slain in the spirit on Friday during cellgroup, somehow it refreshed me. I've been praying more regularly this week and mainly I've just been praying that God'll give me strength, and that my friendships will continue strong. I've been wide awake during lessons this week even with the lack of sleep. And many friends have come forth, reinforcing the strength of the friendships. My friend also apologized for his blog post, and I forgive him, whilst apologizing for my schedules too. Issue is over. God really answers prayers in the most amazing ways.
Speaking of God and stuff, I was looking at a survey. Interesting.
