Where will you be my darling? Where will you be when the dark is rising?

Aye, sorry for the lack of updates. School drove me nuts last week. Anyhoo, a few updates. Last week I went to Causeway Point's Breeks Cafe with Yang Sheng and Min Kuan. Frankly, I'm impressed. Most of the food prices are reasonable (some are quite high though) and the service is good. I ordered a mushroom cream pasta with a drink called "Ocean". The pasta was really nice, with just the right hint of mushrooms. The Ocean tasted super sweet, and although I can't place the flavour, I think its total vanilla. Damn nice. They've got plenty of unique dishes there, so check it out. Recommended if you've got a bit to spend.
Later I went to play basketball at Esso court with Nicholas and Wei Yu. We ended up joining a 6-6 full court match! My team was interesting, 'cause there was a guy from every polytechnic. One SP, one NP, one NYP, Nicholas TP and Wei Yu RP. I'm the extra as the ITE -.-. We faced a team of people from mostly private schools. Quite a disappointment at first, because I kept missing many important shots that my teammates passed to me. However, when we were losing 18-10, I suddenly went on fire and scored it till we won. Heh! What a comeback. Had a second match and we won it again before the lights turned off. Anyhoo, I just realized one of the opponents was actually a person from my cellgroup last time. While playing, I called out his name and he got frustrated because he couldn't remember who I was, and how I knew him. HAHA! Once I was going off, he asked who I was and I kinda acted cool (yeah, shoot me) by saying "CHC, remember me?" A little arrogant, I'll admit. Eventually I told him who I was, and he remembered. Most of you don't know who he is, 'cause he was in N265 with me. Yang Heng is his name. Basketball was our last game (before he left).
Friday night I stayed up till 7:45am to do the cellgroup blog. It's finally complete! I'll be editing a few things here and there to touch it up a bit. I've linked the blog, so check it out. Bad thing is, I was supposed to reach Aljunied at 10am to get the things settled for the cellgroup games. Obviously, I overslept, and woke up at 9:50am, and I quickly rushed down to Aljunied. Reached around 11, where I was just in time for the start of the games. I went over to Elijah's house to set up everything and get ready for the people entering. Once the first part of the game was done and everyone arrived, we had our cellgroup meeting. After that, we continued the games... and for the first time in my life since being in church, I led a game. Some kinda unique treasure hunt. Finding angpaos with money (courtesy of the game masters T.T) and looking out for peculiar objects. Such as a teddy bear in the microwave, the clock with the wrong time, a calendar with no January and so forth. I think I was a little too casual in my words while leading the game.
Went to Expo, where the final destination of the games was, and presented the prizes to the respective winners. Had service after that. Brilliant service, with Pastor Kong talking about faith. The praise and worship was really great that day, and during worship, I just couldn't stop tearing. Don't know why. I wasn't sad, yet feeling God so real was really something that brought me to tears. My voice kept breaking so many times I felt kinda bad I was like croaking to God in worship at times. But I loved His presence nonetheless. Pastor Kong preached about faith, and he mentioned something that I think everyone can relate to. Proving yourself. My church has got quite a reputation, and the media makes quite a lot of crap out of it, and people take notice and start gossiping, without any proof at all. So what will it take to prove to them that we're a good church and not what the media says? Nothing. What a true word... You'll see why I'm specifically mentioning this soon.
Went to Pastamania at Harbourfront Centre for fellowship. AND HEY! I'm starting to get pissed off with Pastamania. I mentioned I had food poisoning the last time I ate Pastamania. Well here it goes again. And I wasn't the only victim. I felt like throwing up but kept it in, Ashley actually threw up, Jonathan had a really upset stomach, plus Candice and Wendy didn't feel well after eating also. WHAT IS THIS?! I'm a little ticked that I'm paying money to get poisoned. Zzz. Don't know what's their problem, because I've ate Pastamania before, and nothing has happened, till recently.
Took the train with Jonathan and Jia Jia (Liang Teh) and had great conversations with them. Good way to suppress your damn stomach pains, talking and enjoying yourself.
Went back to Malaysia, and the next day, my dad brought me for a haircut. A major one this time. AHHHH!
