Where will you be my darling? Where will you be when the dark is rising?

Heh, had quite a unique Saturday.
Firstly, I woke up at 2pm, because I slept at like 6am in the morning. Zzz. I rushed and went off to Expo, arriving 10 minutes before service started. *Whew*. Today's praise and worship was really nice, and I especially enjoyed the first worship song we sang. Don't know if its new or old, but I loved the lyrics and tune of the song. Aye, I needa get a copy of it!
Pastor Tan preached that day, and it involved one of the key aspects of Christianity, forgiveness. He gave us a mini quiz to see our understanding of biblical forgiveness, based on true/false questions. For any CHC person wondering, I answered (in order) F, F, T, F, F. In the end, turns out the true answers were all false. Aye, so close. The word was really in season for me though, 'cause lately I've been reminiscing of incidents where I was wronged quite badly. Which reminds me of that really old but famous equation.

Fellowshipped at Cineleisure with the cellgroup after that. N337 and N362 also happened to be in the area, watching a movie and celebrating Charlotte's birthday, respectively. Ate at Subway before taking pictures to be used for the cellgroup blog, then just hung around some seats near the cinema. Gary came over and after chatting a while, both of us went off. Our plan was to go home together, but doing that on a Saturday night was like so anti-climatic to end off the weekend. Now what?
After walking a while, we wanted to go watch One Missed Call, but after realizing it'd be very rushed, decided to play pool at Cuppage. Eh, nothing interesting to note about that place, except that we bumped into Morgan, Cherryl and Sheryl. Anyhoo, I beat Gary 5-2! HA! Some matches were really unbelievable though -.-. We left around 12:30am.
We wanted to take NR2 back, but didn't really know where the bus stop was, so we decided to walk to Clarke Quay, 'cause all the NR buses go there. Yeah, WALK to Clarke Quay. Yikes! We stocked up on food supplies (literally) at 7-11 and walked there. Chatted about tons of stuff on the way and we never got lost once. Woots! At one point we were unsure where to go, so I just decided to follow the advice Kate gives in House of the Dead 4 "When in doubt, head left" and we really ended up in the Clarke Quay area after that. LOL.
We did reach the bus stop, but decided, what the heck, why not enjoy ourselves a bit, since Clarke Quay's famous for night life. We couldn't go inside Hooters 'cause they were closing soon (it was like 1:30am only?!) so we were looking around for a place, and yeah, we found one! It's called The Asylum, and the thing that got our attention was the big screen TV, comfy couches right in front of it, and the classy glass chess set on the table in front of the couches. We took it immediately. Haha!
Though the customer service was a little rushed, it was alright at most. Anyhoo, I ordered a lychee martini and Gary ordered a screwdriver (no, not from the toolbox) and we shared some nachos with dried cheese and green chili on it. Freaking spicy -.-. So spicy, we asked for various stuff to go along with it. Well, there was an ulterior motive... get the pretty waitresses to come over! When the prettier one walked past, we'd ask for water, then quickly gulp our current cups of water... hahaha. Then when we'd accidentally flagged the not so pretty one, we got her to get some sauce, so she'd be gone longer, then flag the prettier one and ask for water, so she'd be back sooner. LOL. There were some issues involving ordering the sauce though. Imagine asking a girl "Hey, you got any sauce?" LOL... sounds freaking wrong.
We played chess while watching the match, where Manchester United trashed Newcastle 6-0 in the end, Ronaldo getting a hattrick. Gary beat me once without realizing he checkmated me -.-. I got revenge later on, with pawns! I pwned him with pawns! HA. The lychee martini was brilliant though. The sweetness of the lychee and the alcohol mixed in makes a very nice flavor. Not to mention they dropped in one actual lychee inside, and eating that alcohol-infused lychee tasted great. Beats vodka and Chivas Regal any day! Lol!
Took our NR2 home after 3am, and realized everything in Clarke Quay closed damn early for a Saturday. Geez. Anyway, Gary went back, and I overshot my stop -.-. Ended up at Sembawang at close to 5am, where the uncle offered to drive me to Causeway Point. Thanks! I got off and man, although Causeway Point is usually packed and has some loiterers at late night, it was purely empty except for me. My footsteps echoed around the area and I did the same thing I did on Friday, blast my Ringtone of Death!
