Where will you be my darling? Where will you be when the dark is rising?

Aye... had a great weekend.
On Saturday I went for service again. I was late but lucky me, I managed to get a seat right behind the front row. Well, I can't take bragging rights for that. It's way harder in Expo to do that... but who says I can't brag? Service was almost exactly the same message as the last sermon I listened to before I came to KL! That people having less than 4 hours of sleep and over 8 hours of sleep have shorter life spans. I'm still a little skeptical, because I'm probably the most unhealthiest person I know, yet I'm among the most clinically healthy person among my friends as well. Pastor Kevin preached it, and he also mentioned some highlights about him preaching in Japan the previous week. Very entertaining. My first time hearing him preach. Oh, and a few things I just noticed. The drummer is a girl (cool!) and one of the worship leaders really, really looks like James of N337. Even the hair colour and style are the same -.-.
It was the 3:30pm service, so we ended just before 5:30pm. It's been AGES since I've went for fellowship that early. We combined with W32 and I got to catch up with Yu En again. There was also a Singaporean among them, Shawn, who just started studying in KL. Initially it was very awkward for me, I was like quiet and all while most of the others were talking casually. After a while though, I got to warm up with the new people and I had a great time chatting with all of them. Especially Shawn, who told us about his clubbing experiences and all. Hilarious!
James drove us back home, so thanks! It's the regular thing for the people with cars to drive back the other members. It's safer, faster and you'll never have to worry about fellowshipping till late hours. Of course, our fellowship ended early though, and another "AGES" moment, going home at like 8-9pm after church. But it wasn't the end of the night.
My sister has made many friends through Kenny Sia's tagboard. All of them avid bloggers. So they were going for the opening of a new club/pub called Republic and I tagged along. The people who went were Zoe, Lee Ren, Lee Yen (his brother), Su Ling, Billy, Stephanie and Sherry. A Heineken jug cost RM40 at happy hour and RM60 after the hours. Terrible compared to Chips! But the ambience was good, and the comfy couches were heavenly. Lee Ren treated 3 jugs though, so we had plenty to drink while chatting with each other. As usual, I drank the most, and was still damn clear-headed. Had a good time getting to know each other, but after a while some people got hungry and the live bands playing were um... nevermind.
So we headed down to Mac and ate while having tons of chatter and stories. Had a fun time hearing all the stories and all even though it was in Mac -.-. After that we had a ride home and I didn't sleep the entire night. Used the internet and couldn't sleep all the way till 9:30am, where James picked us up to go to Sunway Lagoon.
James had received 27 free tickets to go there, so he invited 2 cellgroups along. It's like a mix of Escape and Wild Wild Wet in Singapore, but I find it better (and way bigger). Well, for W19, there was James, Zoe, Winny, Hui Wen, Kai Xuan, Nick and uh, one person I forgot her name =x. Anyhoo, you can't describe a theme park trip very well, so yeah. We had loads of fun and stuff, especially in the water! Slides and all were great. Afterward we went to Subway to eat, and our conversation was like so quiet and dead... everyone was really exhausted from all the fun.
When Nick drove my sister and I back, I used the internet at 6:30pm, and fell asleep at 7pm! Was dead tired 'cause I hadn't slept in 31 hours. I ended up waking up at 7am today, so my bodyclock is finally back to normal at least, with optimal results =D.
Anyway, I'm blogging all this at a cafe called Leo's. I don't usually blog "live" so let's try it out.
Right now I'm finally using wireless internet at broadband speed. It's been killing me the last few weeks to have to use dialup speed connections at the insanest times 'cause my sister kept using the internet till late night. And it was good.
On the table, there's burger and fries (my dinner) and I'm really hungry. And it was good.
Right beside it is a strawberry milkshake. It's way cheaper here than in Singapore, so its a good opportunity to finally drink it. And it was good.
My sister is on my right, eating her meal and using my mom's laptop. She's not bugging me about saving the earth, turning off the cafe lights nor preaching the "veggie sermon". And it was good.
But this ain't paradise! On my left there's a family eating their meals, and the mother and her young son keep staring at me as if I'm Mas Selamat or something. Oh wait, this isn't Singapore. Eh... actually, I don't know. I don't know any high-profile criminal here. Fine, I look like a freak to them.
A few tables in front of me, there's another family, this time a cute baby girl instead of a momma's boy. She may be freaking cute, but every few minutes she'll scream her head off if she's not given what she wants. Even putting my volume at max and blasting my most hardcore black metal songs through my earphones isn't phasing it out. Then the mom keeps staring this way also. Same expression as the mother beside me. Geez! What's up with that?
Heck, I'm gonna stop here and read a few blogs. And enjoy my strawberry milkshake. And it was very good.
