Where will you be my darling? Where will you be when the dark is rising?

Aye... I'm finally back in Singapore!
Let's just say the journey here was too eventful for me -.-. Firstly, once I got up, my mom took me to have breakfast, and drove me to the LRT station, where I got off at some place called Masjid Jamek. Then I walked an excruciating 15 minutes in the hot sun carrying all my luggage to Puduraya Terminal. Some guy approached me to ask whether I'm going to JB. Call it luck, but so far I've always accepted and got onto buses that were moderately crowded, meaning it'd leave sooner. When I paid and got on, I was the first person inside! I settled down in the furthest seat in the back and after that some guy walked toward me screaming and yelling in Malay. HEY, what did I DO?! I kept yelling back "Speak English" and he'd yell all the more longer. Not until I heard the words "drivah sit" did I begin to think about his words. I looked up, and in big bold letters was the word DRIVER written on masking tape. Like I'd know! This is the first bus that has a driver's seat in the back of the bus! GEEZ.
I waited nearly an hour till the bus was full, which is a record time high for bus waiting -.-. On the journey back, it was quite alright, although the time wasted in waiting had ticked me off, 'cause I was hoping to go to Bible study classes. Once I reached Larkin, I took 170 back to Singapore, and the bus had taken 4 and half hours, much faster compared to the usual 5-6 hours. So I still had hope to reach Riverwalk on time. That hope flew out the window once I reached Singapore checkpoint. Although the bus services were sparse, there were only 4 lanes open. 4!!! And the lines for each lane were so long they had reached the door. Ridiculous! Since the beginning of 2008, the checkpoint services have begun to suck terribly! Nothing Mas Selamat does should make there only be 4 damn lanes open. Oh man. I waited half an hour and I moved around 30cm only? So I tried my luck in the Singapore lane, which was faster. Then I realized, my student pass has expired! I needa use the white card like all the normal people now -.-, and the lady who rejected my entry wasn't all too kind either. So I filled in the white card and waited in line. Again. From the back. After this time, another lane (finally) opened, and I quickly rushed there, making it near the front. That cut my waiting time, but by then it was already 7:30pm. Bible study starts at the exact same time -.-. By the time I reached my rental place it was close to 8. So I just dropped my stuff and headed to Riverwalk to visit my cellgroup. I got cheered up at least, after being gone for like 3 weeks. Had a meal with them and caught up a bit with a few of the members. I accompanied Jessica back home and went back home. Then I realized I'm paying adult fare!
Then at night I went over to Koh Wee's house to stay over, just to chill, watch movies and eat. A lot! We stayed up till the morning hours and walked to Causeway Point to eat Mac. Today we repeated almost exactly all that, haha! And I prefer Black over White =p. Inside joke, heh.
As if drama wouldn't start on my second day back, it did! I was supposed to do the songsheet, and I planned out the time carefully. I would start at 1:30pm, then finish at 2+, then send it, and have plenty of time to surf the net. Well, there were a few problems. Actually, MANY. I couldn't access guitar4christ.com, which has all the lyrics I need. Even though I logged myself in, guitar4christ said I wasn't logged in at all. I tried logging into Hotmail and Yahoo! and both said I had cookie problems with my browser. AYE! How can I send a songsheet if I can't even access my own email?! Heck, worst still, how can I send a songsheet with no song lyrics inside? So I needed to send the songsheet by 3pm, but with all that waiting time, it was nearly 3pm by the time I decided to do something quite drastic. I inserted my laptop battery and walked outside my block, looking for an unsecured wireless connection. Wireless@SG isn't available near residential places, so I had to hope one family was naive enough to leave it open. After 10 minutes of walking around with my laptop in my hand, constantly refreshing the wireless connection, I finally found one. I quickly signed into guitar4christ, finished up the songsheet and sent it through Hotmail. And right after I sent the songsheet, my battery promptly died. WHEW!
Gotta take a shower, go to Khatib to pick up the guitar, and attend cellgroup meeting later. Please, I've had enough drama for one day -.-.
