Where will you be my darling? Where will you be when the dark is rising?

Aye... I just celebrated my birthday earlier! Lol... however, a few updates first.
On Saturday I went for service. The sermon was preached by Pastor Tan, and it was a very inspiring message. I really enjoyed it, plus the lessons learnt were very practical. Aye... PUSH! LOL.
Anyhoo, after service, as I predicted, there were two birthday celebrations, haha. Yao Feng's and mine! The cellgroup sang us birthday songs, and gave us presents. Yao Feng received a brand new Bible and cake while I received a hotdog with candles stuck into the sausage -.-, plus a balloon. Haha! Geez... I received a very "hole-y" hotdog -.-. After thanking some other people who wished me happy birthday, we took a seat and were briefed a bit on the Sozo Extreme camp, which I probably won't be able to attend unless I get some miracle holiday a month after school starts. Oh yeah, I also wore red that day. Michelle bought me a red shirt and told me to wear it. Aye... I haven't worn a red shirt in like 4 years, so it's quite a big deal. Everyone said I looked good in it though, so I hope that did it some justice -.-.
We went to Changi Airport T3 after that to eat, chat and fellowship. The topic this time round was about spirits and deliverance. Michelle wanted to inform some of the newer people of the things that would happen, plus the usual questions and stuff associated with demons and spiritual topics. After that Jonathan and I took 858 back to Khatib and Woodlands, respectively, and I reached home dead tired. I had a great time chatting on Windows Live though. Heh =x.
I chatted till like 3am though, so when I woke up at 7am for Sunday service, I was dead tired. I got ready and took 969 to Tampines, but Nicholas (the Woodgrove one, back in N265) got on too, so I had a chat with him. He was the reason I was going for Sunday service anyway, so once we reached Expo, we went to service with Karnex and Ashley. It was the same message as Saturday, so I wasn't expecting much. However, as I was fully listening to the service instead of actually writing down notes, I realized that I understood a great deal more of it, and that it seemed to make more sense in tremendous ways. Also, the worship was brilliant! I teared during the final part of the worship, and the presence of God was just so great. Aye... totally unexpected from a service where you know (or thought you knew) what to expect.
Anyway, after that, Karnex, Ashley and I took 858 to Khatib to have lunch with Jonathan before going off to play soccer at Pasir Ris with Alvin and a group of friends from the last time round. Well, I can't say much for the soccer, our team lost every single match save 2! Heck, and we always lost through some very (and really very, lemme tell you) last minute luck shots by the other team. Zzz. Unbelievable. I won't blame anyone for our losses, but I was directly responsible for the loss of one game though. Also, the other teams were freaking violent. The Malays played very well, but most of the Chinese just sucked, seriously. One guy pushed me in midair so he could get another ball, another kept stepping on my foot with his boots, and another just had a problem with me from the start. He dribbled the ball out, and when I called it, he said that just because he dribbled it past me I was making excuses to get the ball back. Geez! Everyone saw it go out! Even his own teammate said it, but he still accused me. Later on, when he went off, and everyone said bye, I also said bye, not noticing it was really him. He gave me some pissed off look and started mumbling (real loud) about my attitude sucks and blah blah. I can't believe I actually said bye to him -.-. Okay, at least I made a new friend called Ray, and got to know my teammates better.
Went back home, and afterward, went to Koh Wee's place to stay over, plus play tennis on our PSP's. Zzz, I lost every match, by just a point, almost every single time! Zzz. I "counted down" to my birthday at his place. Heh... kudos to Gary for the first birthday wish! Usually Debbie's the one who achieves that. Ha!
So how did I celebrate my birthday? Well... check the next post. I think it deserves a post in itself, not because it's my birthday, but because of the people involved and what they did. Heh.
