Where will you be my darling? Where will you be when the dark is rising?

Aye... well, here's the full details about my birthday, haha.
Koh Wee, Yao Qi and I went to Orchard to celebrate my birthday by eating at a restaurant called Din Tai Feng. Honestly, I've never heard of it, but just hearing their descriptions of it kinda made me hungry. Plus, its actually reported by the New York Times as one of the top ten best restaurants in the world! So was it that good? Well, it feels kinda weird and cool to be in such a prestigious restaurant. However, the food really was great. I had some beef noodles thingy, and it tasted great. The noodles were really good and its something minor, but I find it significant they paid attention to it. The noodles and soup were really warm, not hot. I find it nice that they'd pay attention to that. You can drink the soup immediately without having to blow it for God knows how long. There were too little beef pieces, but maybe that's just me. I'm not complaining anyway. And oh oh! They had some buns, dunno what you call it, Xiao Long Bao? No idea -.-. Anyhoo, these were brilliant! Some minibun, where you dip into vinegar, and when you bite into it, soup just bursts forth from within. Simply brilliant. Yao Qi paid for me, so thanks a lot!
We shopped around Orchard area after that, going from Shaw, to Wheelock, to Wisma Atria, Paragon. Heh... we ended up in a very impressive sports shop called Stadium, and Yao Qi and Koh Wee bought their tennis gear and attire. We shopped a little bit more before taking a seat whie Yao Qi met soe of her (pretty) friends. Lmao.
We took the MRT and I went to Dhoby Ghaut to meet with Jonathan at 7pm. Since I was a little early, I took a stroll inside Plaza Singapura and bumped into Michelle from E432. And I also saw Joshua at Dhoby Ghaut MRT. Anyway, like I said, you kinda know what to expect from celebrating (and pranking) other people's birthdays for 6 years in church, so I was expecting something. However, Jonathan and Jessica's words and banter really caught me off guard, until I was blindfolded! I was a so-called test subject for Sozo Extreme's nightwalk, and they wanted me to try it out. Heck, I was paraded around Plaza Sing and later on, had to wear a shirt over my own, and they stuck two pieces of paper on me, with certain words scrawled on them. Then I had to wear a hairband, and was paraded a second time round, and some of the public actually sang me happy birthday. Haha! I was eventually guided towards the outside, going through escalators and stairs. After a while I was brought to a new place and the blindfold was pulled off of me, with my cellgroup there singing happy birthday. Aye! Amen! LOL.
I was actually at Fish and Co. and we ordered 3 seafood platters for everyone. Had a great time chatting with everyone, and the food was great, heh. I was also given quite a number of gifts! A received a pen with a heart on top, three roses (red, white and pink) a (white) buttoned shirt and a new bag. I also received a book from Karnex, plus I got to keep the shirt I wore (which turned out to be female pyjamas) and the hairband too, lmao! We chilled at Starbucks and took some pictures before going off with Jessica and Jian Yong, who came by after work. Had a great time chatting with them, even with all those uncovered facts =/.
Anyway, thanks everyone for celebrating my birthday! I had an awesome time, and I really appreciate all the effort. This was probably one of the best (and most memorable no doubt, female pyjamas) birthdays I've had in my life. Thanks so much.
