Where will you be my darling? Where will you be when the dark is rising?

Aye... assignments have been making me lazy to blog about how bad the organization was at the basketball prelims. 'Cause I'm lazy, I'll just cut it short. Hopefully.
Okay, in CHC SG, for basketball prelims, you find your teammates who are in your cluster and you form a team. You then fight and battle it out against the other teams, regardless of cluster. The top few make it to the finals for another day. in CHC KL however, it's a little different. You go for a prelim where your cluster mates are put into different teams. The best 5 will represent the cluster and fight the other clusters (which is only 3 over here). I'm okay with that, although I dislike it.
Okay, so the person in charge, Tracy, told us that a person called Tien would be presiding over the basketball matches and he'd pick the best 5. Since I was alone, I was put into a team with a few other guys I didn't know. So during the first match, I was on the bench, and would play in the next round. We lost, and after every team had played once, Tracy came back and said that it was over. I was like WHAT? How can you judge us based on one game alone? And worse for me, I didn't even play! She asked why I didn't sub with someone to which I replied I didn't think one game would decide the whole damn thing. She went to Tien and she said that we'd continue playing.
Here's the annoying part. When my team would play, I'd start out, and we'd be leading. Then when they subbed out someone (for fairness) it'd always be me. Heck, why me? Everytime we were leading comfortably, they'd sub me out and we'd end up losing in the end. We never even won one match as a team. Geez! I only played like a total of 5 minutes for the whole thing since I was subbed out so often. And Tien wasn't even paying attention! He held his phone in front of his face counting the time, and he never gave a 1 minute warning. It'd always end by him saying "5, 4, 3, 2, 1". No warning whatsoever. How can we play? And he seemed so distracted by his phone too. He never called any fouls. In fact, fouls were called by the players themselves, which is fine for casual games, but shouldn't be allowed for this kinda stuff. Heck, there was one foul that occured and he never called it, and neither did the player, who expected him to call it. Then another time when there was no foul at all, the player called it, and this Tien let it be. Geez! What kinda referee is this? I doubt he was even paying attention to our skills.
After a few games, he just walked off, and the rest of us were like huh? What's next? We never said that the judging was over, nor did he tell the next team to come. He just disappeared. So to kill time, the rest of us played matches. I sat out the first one but when a group of us wanted to be the next team, they ignored us and didn't bother counting points. Only till a guy beside me yelled at them did they bother to count points (after shooting a few more balls). Once my team played, I might as well have not played. Although I played very well for the short amount of time I had, once I missed my first (and only) shot, no one passed to me anymore. When I was wide open, he'd deek in and try a layup, which of course failed. I was mostly covering people and was passed the ball only when I was in a position to pass it to another teammate. Heck! It was like I was invisible or something. Obviously we lost, and later saw Tien playing basketball at another court. What the hell? He made no announcements and he just went off to play basketball! ARGH. He disappeared for good after that. What the?
Tracy later collected our names and she also disappeared when we wanted to ask about the selection of players. Heck, my mood was completely spoiled. Wasted my damn time just attending this retarded thing. The organization is pathetic! In CHC SG, during the Emerge prelims, THOUSANDS of students register and all of them have it done properly. Messy, but still registered. Everything goes smoothly, everything is official and professional. Considering CHC KL is a branch church, I expected the same level os efficiency. Boy, was I ever disappointed. There was only 40 people at most for the basketball and they couldn't even manage that properly. Screwed up completely. I kicked Shaun's basketball (I borrowed it earlier) to him and walked off. Sorry, it wasn't your fault.
I received a phone call earlier about the basketball prelims, whether I attended. Yes I did. Even the guy calling didn't know that there was no selection of any sort done at all. Why am I not surprised? Even if I somehow made it into the selected, I think I'll skip it. If the prelims were that bad, I'd hate to think how bad the actual one will be. I might consider, but at this point of time, I doubt it. Yeesh. Total disgrace of the City Harvest reputation.
And I said I wanted to keep it short -.-. Oh well.
