Where will you be my darling? Where will you be when the dark is rising?

Aye... it's been one hell of a week! Honestly! HELL!
The week before this, practically everything was in the form of final assignments... and it was hell. I had to pass up the Adobe Illustrator tracing of my singer (I picked Jolin, again). Irwin (lecturer) actually rejected a few because he said they were too realistic. What the? He asked us to add in detail, make it look real and accurate, then he rejected a few because they looked too real. I seriously don't get what's up with this guy -.-. No wonder most of the class dislikes him.
Lily's assignments too. Ruz, Kok Kin and I stayed over at Ruz's place to do our final assignments for our most hated lecturer. Even though we didn't sleep and did our work through the night, we only managed to finish at 9:30am, the time Lily's lesson starts. We reached class half an hour late, and the always in PMS-mode woman was busy scolding the class and said she wouldn't mark the late comers assignments so we'd learn a lesson. Geez! Without the final 2 assignments passed up, I failed her module. Freak right? And she wouldn't give a chance. But to other classes, even though they were late, she still let them be marked. What the hell is this?
History, as much as I find Stephen's voice quite dull and I often sleep in his classes, I found it quite enjoyable. We had a group assignment where we were mixed with different classes, and we needed to reinvent a picture to make our own interpretation, and have another painting creatively used to promote an advertisement for a brand. Heh... I'll get the pics up another time. Lazy now -.-. We also had a history test. Open book. A few written questions, and the remaining were pictures of the masterpieces of old, and we needed to find the art movement era, the painter, the year and all. We could use any resource, so obviously Wikipedia and Google were our best friends. Ivan and I were tag-teaming so to speak. We'd search for things, and help each other out to a great extent. Haha! We did so well, we finished almost an hour in advance of the submission time, and half an hour before everyone else. I never knew I was so resourceful, and that even when I slept in class, I remembered more than a lot of my classmates =x. Was quite proud of the fact I was able to source out so much with so little references.
Today I had to do a presentation for finished art, which is something related to advertising and products. Needed to present a pop up card on a festival and show the meaning. I did Deepavali, and well, I did alright, although I had one of the shortest presentations out of everyone. Quite sudden too. I was late and when I walked in the class, the teacher called out my name to present, on the spot -.-. Zzz.
Oh yeah... even though the prelims for Emerge basketball was a disaster, I was asked to join the team playing for the prelims and finals for captains ball. Heh... I had a practice session on Sunday, and boy, was it way better. Had a fun time practicing with everyone and knowing my teammates. Unlike CHC SG, where it's mixed team, over here captains ball is fully guys and fully girls only.
Oh, and service on Saturday was a blessing too. Keith preached a message because Pastor Kevin was in Taiwan. It was about passion, which I think was quite in season.
Anyhoo, I know this post is a little messy and may not make much sense, so I thought I'd post up some stuff that does make sense. Just a few excerpts from some thing's I've read. Food for thought?
"I went to church, and I prayed that I could be stronger, not that things could be easier."
"A few years ago I thought to myself 'Maybe if I just got sick, then I'd find out who my real friends are.' Then I got cancer."
"I want to float by, lightly touch them, remove their pain and make their lives better."
"If I'm staring at you on the train... it's because I think you're beautiful."
"Kisses are lies I tell myself"
Most of my school stuff is over, so life's been easier. Whew! I think I'll be able to update more often. More clearer posts too. I'm like half asleep while typing this... I didn't sleep at all last night (again).
