Where will you be my darling? Where will you be when the dark is rising?

Aye... sorry for the lack of updates! Been a little lazy after trying to get as much rest as possible since my holidays started. So don't mind... this post will be quite long and descriptive (sounds kinda typical...).
So backtrack to last Thursday! Eh... the class has a figure studies test to draw someone who I think is Maggie Gyllenhaal (wrong spelling I think). Honestly, I think mine was one of the worst in the class. Couldn't pay attention 'cause I hadn't slept the entire night due to that incident between Wai Kwan and I. Not to mention my mood was haphazard throughout the morning, and it only got better once Wai Kwan and I sorted things out =D.
Later on, I had to present our group's history reinvention and advertisements. Well, suffice to say my group's presentation lasted one hour! Yeah! Here's how the presentation goes. First you present the original painting, explain a bit, the painter, the era and the meaning. Then you explain how and why you reinvented it the way you wanted. Same goes for the advertisement, except you must explain how this promotes the brand and such. Then throughout, or after, depending, Stephen will ask questions and you must counter them properly. Well, our group was unique in that instead of only having one or 2 people present, we had 4. Nice eh? Of course I spoke the most, and counter-argued the most, to the extent that Stephen got so tired that he said "Stop talking! You're so stubborn!" Well sorry. He said that our explanation was the best of everyone, but our art piece was not visually strong enough. But, he said we did well overall, and that we would not fail. Good. My job was done. Heh... I enjoyed working with my group members, so thanks alot everyone!
Friday was pretty much a waste of time. I went to Sunway Pyramid to meet up with Wai Kwan, Ruz, Kok Kin and Licia plus Wai Kwan's cousin to play in the arcades for a while. Well... my Time Crisis 3 skills have deproved -.-. Sobs! I needa improve them again. Zzz. This time I wasn't killed by bullets, knives, or even those ninja guys. I was at the ninja boss stage, and you have to dodge a big box that drops. Thing is, I popped out the moment the box dropped, and I died -.-. Freak.
Licia, Kok Kin and I went to watch Ruz perform his firedance. Heh... quite spectacular. I got to play a few rounds with the fire, but I didn't try anything fancy in case I burned myself -.-. I'll post the pics soon! Since it was quite late, Licia and Kok Kin stayed over my place. Had a few fun chatters before we finally went to sleep.
Next day had charcoal test. During the test it was quite alright. The hardest thing to draw was a dragonfruit (which I almost left out), and yeah... while doing my drawing, I spoke to Lisa (lecturer) about quite a few stuff. Found out she's leaving in a weeks's time to go to UK and study fashion design, her real passion. That means she might not come back to teach drawing anymore. Aye... my prettiest teacher, gone! So I got her MSN, her number and everything. Haha! I always seem to get my prettiest teacher's numbers =x. Except Mosbergen... who still owes me her number!
Had service later. Before the preaching started, Pastor Kevin asked us to find someone we didn't know and shake hands and talk. I was like a row or 2 away from the front, so since I was surrounded by everyone I knew, there was only one person nearby I didn't actually know personally, Esther... Pastor Kevin's wife! LOL! I knew who she was, and who was her husband (the pastor -.-), but since I didn't truly know her, I shook her hand and spoke a bit. The time for talking was a bit short, so I'm wondering if Pastor Kevin saw me talking to his wife and cut it short =x. Haha! Kidding! Kidding! No offence pastor! He did preach a great message later on anyway, and I think that really left an impression in all our hearts.
I couldn't join the cellgroup for fellowship cause I had captain's ball training later on. The next day was the prelims and finals, so we needed to practice, and I think we did well. Just a little bit of info... for Emerge KL, there's 4 clusters. There's LU, which stands for Local Universities (common sense), then there's SMU, which unlike Emerge SG, does not stand for Singapore Management University, but Sunway Monash Universities (Sunway and Monash are separate colleges), then there's MINT which doesn't promote mentos but is 4 schools combined, M--- (I forgot what the M stood for!), INTI, Nilai, and Taylor's colleges. Then there's VU, which is my clustere. Basically any school not in the above 3 are here, which is why its called Various Universities -.-.
Anyhoo, had captains ball the next day. Well... I can't describe it in full, but MINT males trashed every cluster in captains ball, and the remaining 3 of us won 1 and lost 2 between one another. Since that was the case, the runner ups had to be decided by points scored. And VU got silver! Woots! First time actually getting a medel in Emerge. Heh... okay... considering the church is 16 times smaller than CHC SG, maybe its not such a big deal. Regardless, I did get a leg cramp in our final match, which was kinda crappy, and Andrew also had a leg cramp. Yeesh. Thankfully we at least did our part before injuring ourselves out of the game -.-.
On Monday Wai Kwan, Ruz, Kok Kin, Licia, Henry and I went to Sunway Lagoon to play around. Heh... well... basically there's not much to describe a theme park, so yeah. Played some rides and spent most of the time in the water, playing around. Fun! We also played truth or dare in the pool. Made each other do stupid and crazy stuff. Plus, we found out a little more from each other. Aye!
So yeah... that's basically it. I am on holidays, but there's some problems for me coming back to JB and Singapore. I'll blog that tomorrow I think. Kudos if you read this far, 'cause I haven't blogged this long in a really long time!
