Crap, today I overslept and missed school. So that meant I had rest!
Met up with Koh Wee and we went to Bugis to shop around for some Chinese New Year clothes. I got a really nice black (duh) shirt and that's about it. Kept bumping into people we knew all day. Karen Chong, Hui Hui, Li Xin, two GT zone guys (I forgot their names! =x) and a few more. Aye.
Went back to his place to watch some poker videos and received some calls involving important stuff. Hmmm.
Anyway, I started an experiment last week to gather proof of something. I seriously hope I'm proved wrong. So far, results 95% expected, 5% deviant. Not good. And the truth is out for some people. Right.
And well, something happened today, and it went just as I expected. Disappointment again. If I really came... can you promise me I won't be ignored? That it'd really be worthwhile?
But well, none of that's gonna ruin my happiness. At all!
Super cheered up. Heh! Super high.
Haven't felt like this in ages...

Aye, here's an update for you guys =/.
Wednesday night I went for powerhouse at Clarke Quay and had a helpers meeting after that. I accompanied Jessica home and that made me miss the last train. So even though I was seriously tight, I had no choice but to take a cab. The freaking taxi driver conned my money. He didn't exit at the first Woodlands exit on the expressway, but took the second one, where it leads to the checkpoint. Freak. Because of that, the amount went WAY over the money in my wallet. I told him once he reached my place I'd pay him $10 first and go up and get more and come back down. He insisted on following me up to my unit. Freaking money-face. He still insisted on the few cents. Okay, I rightfully owe him that, but I guess seeing him follow me up all the way to my unit kinda makes it obvious I'm not getting any discount.
Thursday night I went to Aljunied to help shop for the things for the steamboat. Jonathan and I accompanied Jessica back to Bukit Gombak and had supper with Jian Yong too. We ended up staying over at his place but at night Jon's dad offered to pick us up so we snuck out -.-. Sorry JY! Jonathan's like the ultimate sneak!
Friday I woke up super late much to my enjoyment. Had a great sleep and I went off to Hui Zhen's place to have the cellgroup steamboat. Eh, nothing much to note, except MONKEY! That's an inside joke. Lmao. I left around 9+ to go to Sandy's chalet at Pasir Ris. The bus services there suck. Honestly. Zzz.
I found the chalet after much trouble and located Sandy's block. Well, my initial thoughts were "Crap, shoulda stayed with the cellgroup" 'cause I only knew 3 people there, and none were talking to me -.-. So I was just standing there like some retard, while they all took pictures and went crazy over butter. After half an hour, most of the people left till only Sandy, Lynette, Ming Xuan, Georgina and Tiffany were left. Some people returned 'cause they missed the last train. Lmao. So Tiffany, Lynette and I were playing poker (Texas Hold'em) on the bed while the rest were outside playing the King and I. Had a fun time! 'Cause I kept winning =x.
Tiffany, Ming Xuan and I just sat and talked for a long time when all the commotion and games were over. Then someone asked us to go shopping at Cheers and hang around Mac for a while. We did just that, and eventually went back. I drank some vodka before talking a bit more and eventually went to sleep around 5am. Woke up at 7am, with my alarm disturbing and waking everyone up! I was dead tired but still went to Clarke Quay to meet Yang Sheng up for a one-day job. You have no idea how tempting it is to listen to people tell you to skip it when you're so dead tired (and especially when one is a pretty girl you're smitten with). Anyway, it was really worth it to go to the chalet, had a fun time and made new friends, notably Tiffany and Ming Xuan.
Yang Sheng and I were supposed to move files from 1998 to 2008 into boxes 'cause the company was moving. Not easy, when they're all in shelves, and you gotta move the boxes to different places. Each year had around 400 files, some small, others huge. The boxes weren't very big either, so we had a lot of work. I worked till 5pm, where only 100 files were left and rushed off for service. Pastor Tan spoke about fortitude and I was enjoying the service a lot. Great faith-booster and I loved his interpretation of the Parable of the Sower. I never saw it the way he explained it. Brilliance.
After service I skipped fellowship and went to The Max Pavilion two halls away for the Asia Beatbox Competition. Jackie (2006 Talentime Winner with Min Kuan) was in the top 10 finalists, so it was kinda supporting him too. Yang Sheng, Min Kuan and Michael were the only people I knew in there. The top 10 performed solo and went through a first elimination round. After that, they battled in 2s in elimination rounds, and were judged for their performances and response to opponent's disses. It was freaking nice. Brilliant dance moves by the dancers and the beatbox was really great. Don't know how to describe it, but let's just say it was nice hearing them and their dissing towards each other. I was kinda disappointed though. Halfway in the competition and near the end, Daren Tan, Mi Lu Bing and 5566 came to perform at different times. The crowd response for the beatbox was mild, and I found out why. The girls (mostly) came for other performances -.-. Once all of them finished, over half of the audience left the hall, before the beatboxing competition was finished. Geez. Anyhoo, Jackie won! Congrats.
I went backstage with Min Kuan and Yang Sheng to meet with the other competitors and the media, and we went to Bedok to eat with a group of other beatboxers. Eventually, one of their sister's eventually drove us back. Went back to Malaysia and had a big meal with my dad the next day. Now I'm back home in Singapore.
On a random note, I'M FREAKING HAPPY! =D=D=D=D (and you guys aren't gonna ruin it)
Keep guessing, the rest of you! And Gary, mouth SHUT! LOL.
