I was just passing by a few websites, and chanced upon a website that has a huge (and I mean HUGE) collection of excuses, real and suggested. Here's a few of my fave picks.
My son is under a doctor's care and should not take P.E. today. Please execute him.
Please excuse Lisa for being absent. She was sick and I had her shot.
Please ekscuse John being absent on Jan. 28, 29, 30, 31, 32.
Please excuse Roland from P.E. for a few days. Yesterday he fell out of a tree and misplaced his hip.
Please excuse Jimmy for being. It was his father's fault.
Sally won't be in school a week from Friday. We have to attend her funeral.
Please excuse Jason for being absent yesterday. He had a cold and could not breed well.
LOL! Those are real excuses! The ones below aren't real, but were sent in as suggestions for excuses.
Please excuse Henry for being late for school. He was stuck in the bathroom without any toilet paper.
Please excuse Casey from school. It was Take Your Daughter to work day. I don't have a job, so I made her stay home and do housework.
Homework? I was suppose to bring it back to school? I thought it stayed at home.
I was late because there are eight kids in my family, and my mother set the alarm for seven.
My mom told the secretary at the school that I fell down the stairs and broke my butt so now there's a big crack in it.
Anyway, on other news... I've prepared my portfolio for my school already. Sort of. They require a 3 piece set. One is a pencil-sketched portrait, second is a still-life landscape coloured drawing, and third, any composition through any media. Well, for my portrait sketch, I drew Jolin. I used this picture as a guide.
When I initially finished, I thought it was quite good, considering I really suck (totally) at drawing faces. Now that I'm looking at it again, I think it looks real terrible -.-. My landscape was some real abstract painting (yes, I used real paint!) of a hill, a tree and the moon. I honestly think a kindergartener could paint better than me -.-. I'm gonna redo it through colour pencils later. The third one was the easiest. My forte is graphics designing, so I just picked one of the pieces from my deviantART.
I think most of you would have known I was busy asking people for opinions on which piece was better to print for the portfolio. It seriously didn't help! I thought that people would clearly pick out the better one, but the mass opinions were about as split on the decision as I was. A
before I printed it out, the tally for Seraphim and Wings of Salvation were 40-40. And it always followed a pattern. Someone would vote for Seraphim, then another person would vote for Wings of Salvation. Only twice was there a vote for a single piece twice in a row. I picked Seraphim eventually though, due to a number of convicing reasons from a lot of people (even those who voted for Wings of Salvation). They said angels were not as outright religious as a cross, and to be neutral on those grounds, angels were better suited. They also said that Seraphim was more detailed, and the fiery passion would make a better impact on the grounds of a first impression. A number of people did outright prefer Wings of Salvation though. They said it looked more graceful and serene, more peaceful. Also that the wings gave a unique twist on the classic depiction of the cross, and that the effects were much more in sync with the cross and wings. Can you see the headache I went through? Thanks everyone on your opinions though. It was a really difficult decision. I guess these 2 are still my best art pieces so far.
Unless you count my current blogskin. Took me 5 hours to make. Hmmm... I'll give the details on it tomorrow. Duomo di Milano aka Milan Cathedral.

My last few days in Singapore have been very memorable. There's been so much events in the last few days, and I've really enjoyed myself. I had my graduation ceremony on Wednesday, and although many people didn't turn up, it was still good to catch up with the class and some friends. I also had my final Bible study in Riverwalk, although Gabriel wasn't the one teaching. Then on Thursday I played tennis for the first time in my life with Koh Wee and Yao Qi, and although we didn't play very well, I'm quite sure we all had lots of fun. Afterward I met up with Khar Loo, who passed me her gift (a bowl, LOL) in a shoebox. We walked to Riverwalk together, chatting along the way and still continued even inside the building. Got to know her much better =). We attended the Sozo Extreme prayer meeting, and had a great encounter. There was slaying in the spirit, and it was really so tangible. I haven't encountered God like this in ages, and it was a really good time. Ashley passed me a present too, a black figurine, heh. We also celebrated Michelle's birthday, with everyone present cheering and hollering.
Friday was spent having dinner with Derrick, and although we didn't plan to, we eventually played basketball with some of the RP students. Even with an injured hand (thanks to tennis) I still managed to shoot quite well, while Derrick was more under the net. Had a great time spent, even though it was brief and impromptu. Thanks alot for the meal too! Saturday was my final service in CHC SG, and what do you know, they sang partially in Chinese. There was a Mother's Day drama too, which was touching. Pastor Kong preached, so at least I had my senior pastor giving my final message in church. Primarily about dedication, which I feel is so relevant since I'd be leaving. Afterward, N337 and N362 came and fellowshipped with my cellgroup at Changi Airport T3, and I was given two shirts by the cellgroups. At T3, while eating, Jonathan gave some really heartfelt words. Heck, I've never cried in front of a male (except, say, Jesus) before! I was also presented with a scrapbook from the cellgroup, which was really appreciated. It's beautifully done, and I really like it. I also gave some last words for the cellgroup. I'm not very good at impromptu speeches, so I thought I'd type out more detailed ones here.
Michelle: Thanks for being a great leader to all of us. We've really been blessed, and I'm sure all of us have learned a great deal from you. Words cannot express how much the cellgroup has been through, and you've been there in the midst of every issue, settling them and strengthening us all. You've been there for all the members when we needed you, and you've given us reason after countless reason why it has been best God placed us under you. I'll miss you, and of course your preaching every week. Take care and keep strengthening the cellgroup!
Jonathan: Above all, you're the person who brought me to church. Yes, God deserves all the credit for using people to save others into His kingdom, but the fact He used you to be the vessel to reach out to me gives you enormous credit, and I am completely indebted to you for this salvation I have received from Jesus. I think seeing a person you brought to church grow and learn so much, and being brothers-in-arms through all the ups and downs, is extremely satisfying. Imagine a person you reach out to matures so much in Christ. It's extremely fulfilling and rewarding, and I can only wonder how it feels when that person leaves. Jonathan, we've been in the same cellgroup for the past 6 years in church, and God having us together for so long must mean this relationship is truly significant. Thanks for everything you've done for me, and really thanks for all the words at T3, I'll never forget them.
Joshua: Aye, even on our first day of knowing each other we already clicked well. I really enjoyed the times we went out to chill and hang out till the wee hours, and everything we've spoken about. The sharing we had with each other as well as the trials we went through in the cellgroup were truly strengthening, and I think we really learned a lot from that. Thanks for keeping everything, and sharing so much about life as well. You've been a great blessing in my life.
Jessica: I've known you the second longest in the cellgroup! Hard to imagine that I've known you for one third of your entire life. Time truly flies, and in the fleeting moments, I've seen you grow from a small girl to a (still small) girl with enormous faith and wisdom. Thanks for all the chats and hearing me out whenever I get outta control, as well as being a great friend and sister in Christ. Hope to see you grow even more in God, and have greater faith in every single area of your life.
Isabel: Thanks for being such a strong sister in the midst of all the trials and tribulations. Your presence, works, and faith have been a great blessing to everyone in the cellgroup. You've changed so much in enormous jumps, and it really shows how much you're willing to change to be more and more like God. Though I feel that our time of knowing each other was cut short, I thank you for all the efforts you've put in the cellgroup, as well as tolerating all my comments on the air balls =x. Grow even more in God, and keep your family strong.
Hui Zhen: The amount of work you've done in the cellgroup is tremendous, and you remind me of Andrew in the Bible. Always working behind the scenes, doing a lot, but never bragging or showing it off. Although the things you do may not be broadcasted to the whole world, it is without doubt that you've kept the faith and done more than you ever could have imagined. I feel as well, that the time to know you has been cut short, even though I've learned quite a bit about you in the last few weeks. Keep persisting, and keep it up.
Ashley: Beatboxer and dancer of the cellgroup! You've got plenty of talents, so don't let it go to waste. Even the simplest of things can glorify God in the most unimaginable ways. I thank God for knowing you, and allowing me to go so deep into our life, even the most private moments. The changes I've witnessed with you, as well as all the fellowship and fun we've had with Joshua are really some of the most memorable moments in this cellgroup. You've learnt plenty, but there's so much more in Christianity to experience, and I pray that with your fervency and love, you'll get to experience all this and so much more. Keep helping the brothers... they've dwindled in numbers 'cause of me =p.
Candice: Fashionista and beauty expert. I remember the first time I met you was due to me booking seats for a certain "friend" of Olivia, and I had to persuade some people to find other seats so I could just get one seat! I'm really glad to develop a great friendship with you, and having all the talks and sharing throughout the year or so I've known you (you know what I'm talking about =p). Seeing you grow and understand so much in such a short span of time has been very fulfilling as it really brings forth God's power in changing people. Thanks for letting me share so much, and all the ranting I did, while you were patiently listening. It's been a great blessing to know you, and I hope you grow even more and teach others how to love God in especially personal ways.
Karnex: Uth-Nited was the first time I met you, and I remember that it was your name that first got my attention. Your passion for soccer and God don't wane, and I hope that it stays that way. You've changed a lot from the person I met in the shuttle bus, but there's still a lot for you to learn. Keep strong in the faith, in discipline (especially!) and thanks for being a great brother. It's been a pleasure knowing you and sharing a lot, as well as speaking into your life. The cellgroup still has plenty of people who you can know better, so don't take my departure as something so major. You've got an entire group of people to know and love, and to share and have fun with.
Olivia: Snore-snore! I think I really got to know you once I heard your snoring. Amusing to know someone better through the sounds they make at night, but oh well, God does unusual things sometimes. Thanks for all the times we've spoken about certain issues, as well as all your encouragements. You're well loved for your antics and keeping the cellgroup in such a cheery mood, yet your seriousness when it comes to God. You've really set an example for the people in school, and I pray it only continues to greater heights. Stay blessed!
Fu Qi: Hey, I haven't seen you around in a while! It's great to know that even in the midst of all the parental objections, your love for God burns as strong as ever. I may not have gotten to know you as well as some of the other members, but I had a great time getting to know you, as well as all the jokes we shared. Fight the fight of faith, and stay strong in the persecution. You'll breakthrough eventually. It always does.
Esther: You still owe me a Seoul Garden meal! Aye... I may not have known you fully throughout the year, but every now and then, we'd have times where we shared quite a bit, peppered into the times when things were quite casual. Your life has been a really inspiring testimony to me personally, and I pray that you'll grow stronger in all the areas of your life, even the most intimate and painful ones. God has access to every single area of our lives, and let Him lead you in these areas too. You'll never look back, and you'll really marvel at the wisdom of God full force. Stay blessed, and make sure you treat me when I come back!
Clement: Dumbbell! Your presence in the cellgroup just makes all of us laugh so much. Thanks for all the jokes, and even more still, your love and strength in God. You've made E458 a much brighter cellgroup and I only hope this joy continues well into the future. It's really entertaining to see such humour in the most unique ways. Your creativity and ideas are countless, and I pray it helps in other areas of your life. Stay strong in your faith, and I pray you'll really become an example of a strong Christian who's got great humour.
Wendy: I don't mean to be a pedophile, but you're really cute and sweet. I don't think we've had the chance to really get to know each other, but throughout the time I've known you, it's been quite a joy, with all the jokes and such. It's great to see such a young person bring friends for God, and have live your life towards eternal truth. It's really been a joy to know you, and I hope that as you grow more in life, that spiritually, you will grow even more, and show others how a young start can bring such great results in the future.
Hng Yi: The girls go nuts over you all the time! Charming, charismatic and really the David of his age, I only hope you'll slay more than one Goliath and prove that there's more to you than just charm and a six-pec. I haven't seen you in quite some time, but knowing that you try your best to attend cellgroup, service, and Bible studies is really encouragiing, and it goes to show how in love you are with God. Worshipping beside you is always a pleasure and it always seems to lift up my mood. And stop asking me to teach you how to type my nickname in codes!
Sok Keang: I don't know you very well, and the only thing I can remember is that I accidentally proposed to you with my ring! Don't get the wrong impression! Even though I may not know you well, I think I can be fairly certain that you've come to love God tremendously, and that you're learning what it is to have faith and be like Jesus. The cellgroup is a great blessing, and I hope they touch you the same way I've been touched. (Don't take that outta context). Let them really be great friends to you, and I expect to see your life become an unforgettable journey.
John: Oink indeed! I've only known you for like 2 weeks? But I think the quality of the time I've gotten to know you has done much more than the quantity. You're a pleasant person, and your jokes and expressions are a joy. It's great to see someone who's relatively new in church participate so actively and join in for all the fun and antics. I hope you'll grow to be a great brother in the cellgroup, and mature in great ways that will be a great blessing to the cellgroup and other people.
Yao Feng: You're the fat guy who makes people laugh! How could I ever forget you? You're the only person in the cellgroup who sounds like Michelle -.-. Your presence and jokes have really brightened up E458 to a whole new level, and seeing your passion for God is really great. It's been a pleasure knowing you, but sadly the time to know you has been cut short. I hope that in the short span of time I got to know you, something really came out of it. Stay blessed, and keep the cellgroup laughing!
Hui Chao: Hey, the bad boy of the cellgroup =p. Don't take that the wrong way! I've barely gotten to know you before I'm going off! It's been a great time getting to know you, and sharing quite a bit in the short amount of time I've known you. Let God really change your heart for the better, and you'll never look back. I can testify to that. I've seen quite a bit of change in just a few weeks, so keep it up, and let your entire life be lost in Jesus. I bet I won't even know who you are by then =p.
Joel: Joshua's brother! I didn't get to know you much, but the brief chats and jokes between us are quite memorable. I pray you'll really settle yourself in the church and really lead the people well. Your brother is a strong Christian, and I hope that rubs off you. Your jokes and presence are a great addition to the cellgroup, and the variety of people just keeps things real interesting. I hope you make things even more interesting, and grow even more in Christ.
Jason: I don't know you very well. Heck, I don't know you at all! I just hope you really commit your life to Jesus and have it in a way you never thought possible. Stay blessed!
Bryan: I only know you dance well -.-. Way better than me. I can't dance at all, and probably seeing you dance puts my legs to shame. Aye, either way, I hope you get to know the cellgroup better and really know Jesus more and more.
Alstar: You still owe me a debate on Christianity! The intellectual issues that you brought up are way over for me, and I hoped I could do the same for you. Either way, I hope you really know Jesus in more ways than just moral and intellectual ways.
To all the new people and anyone I might have missed: I may not have the privilege of knowing you (or even your name, at the moment) but this cellgroup is really a great cellgroup, in the midst of revival, the best time to learn and grow in God. I can say for certain a life with Jesus is really unforgettable, and although challenges may arise, it may well be the most important choice you'll ever make in your life.
However, I am really, really disappointed with E458. On tons of issues. I am disappointed I will not be there to see it multiply. I am disappointed I will not be there to see the growth of all the members. I am disappointed I will not see all the lives changed by Jesus in the most miraculous ways. What, did you really think I was upset? This cellgroup is composed of people from mostly broken families, and seeing the strength of the people, the faith of the members and their love while lacking it in their homes really goes to great lengths in displaying the fortitude of E458. To see a bunch of youths with mostly difficult family lives come together to make miracles and the will of God happen is certain proof God is a God of miracles. The wonders He has made are too numerous to count just within this cellgroup.
And because I'm getting a little lazy, and I don't intend to type out all the names, I think I'll group the next bunch through cellgroups.
N337: The cellgroup I was transferred to when E145 disbanded, and the cellgroup that multiplied E458. The things that went on are some of the most taxing yet rewarding events I've ever been through. I've known some of the people there since I first stepped into church, and others for a few years. Others, just a few months or possibly even weeks. However, I'd like to thank all of you for all you've done in my life. Words cannot express the gratitude for all the things you've done in my life. I pray that the growth you now have continues and that you'll multiply again, with growth in numbers as well as spiritually. Thanks for everything. And Juswin, I still have your PS2 games!
N362: I've never been directly connected with the cellgroup officially, but unofficially, I know almost everyone inside. Just as with N337, the people I know have ranged from weeks, to months, to years. I have some of the greatest friendships with some of the people in this cellgroup, and I've never regretted having such friends. The things I've shared, and vice versa, and knowing so much of the going-ons has been an eye-opener in several areas of life. All I can really say is thanks, and God bless for all you've done in my life. Gary, get a hug soon!
E432: Honestly, I never knew anyone from your cellgroup prior to combining. I've heard of Kevin, heard of Khar Loo, heard of Kang Ning, but I never realized who they were. Although the time we combined wasn't really long, and I was away for quite a bit of it, I think it's been a tremendous time. I've made new friends, and have been spoken to by Kevin, who is really a great leader who uses personal testimonies to great effect. I've heard that the quality of time spent together is more important the the quantity, and I find that really true for E432. I find the most memorable time was in Hong Kong Cafe, where the jokes on chickens and headless (or brainless =p) people came in. It's been a pleasure knowing all of you, and it's been a really great blessing in my life making new friends with the people in the cellgroup. And Khar Loo, thanks for the bowl =D!
And of course, not all my friends are in church... so...
Koh Wee and Yao Qi: You guys have really made my life so much more fun and entertaining. Koh Wee, you've helped me a lot so many times when I was in dire straits, and you've never let me down. All the time spent with you has been great, and I can never thank you enough for all the times you've been a blessing to me. Not to mention all the drinks I always drink at your place! You're a true example of friendship, and I am indebted to everything you've done for me. All the best for the police stuff too! And Yao Qi, thanks for being a great friend as well. Though you're the late-coming queen, I've always enjoyed you going out with us. Your stories, jokes, and just plain crapping around have been a very cheery addition to my life, and I cannot repay you for all the time you spent just to be with your friends. All the best in your future endeavours.
Magic Gang: All of you have been the closest friends I've had in secondary school, among others. Even though we bicker, fight and all, we still hang out all the time, every week. Even after graduating I'm pleasantly surprised with how we hang out in the times after secondary school. We've done stupid stuff together and had some of the best crapping sessions too, as well as clubbing, movies and birthdays. Who would've thought, from us, with such differences? I may not show it and such, but the times Magic hung out were what I call a life.
IT1C and IT2Q: Probably among the best classes I've ever been in. Prior to entering ITE, I never had a good impression of it. After joining however, I find it's not the hellhole people say it is. Except for say, the Bukit Batok campus. Anyhoo, its in these two classes I really felt joy from a class. The students are helpful and plenty of them are outright damn smart. It's also in these 2 classes that I began getting interested in graphics designing, and at this point in life, it's where I'm intending to take my life direction. A major point in life don't you think? There may have been some conflicts in class (especially at the end of the year) but we made it out fine, and I think we did the best out of all the classes. We were the most united, fun and hilarious class, and I will always remember that.
I've been studying in Singapore for 7 years. That's a lot of time to bond and know people. It's a lot of time for memories to develop. It's a lot of time to think and reminisce about. My dad sent me to Larkin on Sunday after I finally packed all my things, taking great care of all the gifts and presents. As I got on the bus, I closed my eyes and tried to sleep. But I couldn't. As the bus rumbled into the distance, I thought back of all I had experienced, all I had loved, all I had despised. All those memories. And for the next 2 hours, my tears would keep flowing...

Aye... well, here's the full details about my birthday, haha.
Koh Wee, Yao Qi and I went to Orchard to celebrate my birthday by eating at a restaurant called Din Tai Feng. Honestly, I've never heard of it, but just hearing their descriptions of it kinda made me hungry. Plus, its actually reported by the New York Times as one of the top ten best restaurants in the world! So was it that good? Well, it feels kinda weird and cool to be in such a prestigious restaurant. However, the food really was great. I had some beef noodles thingy, and it tasted great. The noodles were really good and its something minor, but I find it significant they paid attention to it. The noodles and soup were really warm, not hot. I find it nice that they'd pay attention to that. You can drink the soup immediately without having to blow it for God knows how long. There were too little beef pieces, but maybe that's just me. I'm not complaining anyway. And oh oh! They had some buns, dunno what you call it, Xiao Long Bao? No idea -.-. Anyhoo, these were brilliant! Some minibun, where you dip into vinegar, and when you bite into it, soup just bursts forth from within. Simply brilliant. Yao Qi paid for me, so thanks a lot!
We shopped around Orchard area after that, going from Shaw, to Wheelock, to Wisma Atria, Paragon. Heh... we ended up in a very impressive sports shop called Stadium, and Yao Qi and Koh Wee bought their tennis gear and attire. We shopped a little bit more before taking a seat whie Yao Qi met soe of her (pretty) friends. Lmao.
We took the MRT and I went to Dhoby Ghaut to meet with Jonathan at 7pm. Since I was a little early, I took a stroll inside Plaza Singapura and bumped into Michelle from E432. And I also saw Joshua at Dhoby Ghaut MRT. Anyway, like I said, you kinda know what to expect from celebrating (and pranking) other people's birthdays for 6 years in church, so I was expecting something. However, Jonathan and Jessica's words and banter really caught me off guard, until I was blindfolded! I was a so-called test subject for Sozo Extreme's nightwalk, and they wanted me to try it out. Heck, I was paraded around Plaza Sing and later on, had to wear a shirt over my own, and they stuck two pieces of paper on me, with certain words scrawled on them. Then I had to wear a hairband, and was paraded a second time round, and some of the public actually sang me happy birthday. Haha! I was eventually guided towards the outside, going through escalators and stairs. After a while I was brought to a new place and the blindfold was pulled off of me, with my cellgroup there singing happy birthday. Aye! Amen! LOL.
I was actually at Fish and Co. and we ordered 3 seafood platters for everyone. Had a great time chatting with everyone, and the food was great, heh. I was also given quite a number of gifts! A received a pen with a heart on top, three roses (red, white and pink) a (white) buttoned shirt and a new bag. I also received a book from Karnex, plus I got to keep the shirt I wore (which turned out to be female pyjamas) and the hairband too, lmao! We chilled at Starbucks and took some pictures before going off with Jessica and Jian Yong, who came by after work. Had a great time chatting with them, even with all those uncovered facts =/.
Anyway, thanks everyone for celebrating my birthday! I had an awesome time, and I really appreciate all the effort. This was probably one of the best (and most memorable no doubt, female pyjamas) birthdays I've had in my life. Thanks so much.

Aye... I just celebrated my birthday earlier! Lol... however, a few updates first.
On Saturday I went for service. The sermon was preached by Pastor Tan, and it was a very inspiring message. I really enjoyed it, plus the lessons learnt were very practical. Aye... PUSH! LOL.
Anyhoo, after service, as I predicted, there were two birthday celebrations, haha. Yao Feng's and mine! The cellgroup sang us birthday songs, and gave us presents. Yao Feng received a brand new Bible and cake while I received a hotdog with candles stuck into the sausage -.-, plus a balloon. Haha! Geez... I received a very "hole-y" hotdog -.-. After thanking some other people who wished me happy birthday, we took a seat and were briefed a bit on the Sozo Extreme camp, which I probably won't be able to attend unless I get some miracle holiday a month after school starts. Oh yeah, I also wore red that day. Michelle bought me a red shirt and told me to wear it. Aye... I haven't worn a red shirt in like 4 years, so it's quite a big deal. Everyone said I looked good in it though, so I hope that did it some justice -.-.
We went to Changi Airport T3 after that to eat, chat and fellowship. The topic this time round was about spirits and deliverance. Michelle wanted to inform some of the newer people of the things that would happen, plus the usual questions and stuff associated with demons and spiritual topics. After that Jonathan and I took 858 back to Khatib and Woodlands, respectively, and I reached home dead tired. I had a great time chatting on Windows Live though. Heh =x.
I chatted till like 3am though, so when I woke up at 7am for Sunday service, I was dead tired. I got ready and took 969 to Tampines, but Nicholas (the Woodgrove one, back in N265) got on too, so I had a chat with him. He was the reason I was going for Sunday service anyway, so once we reached Expo, we went to service with Karnex and Ashley. It was the same message as Saturday, so I wasn't expecting much. However, as I was fully listening to the service instead of actually writing down notes, I realized that I understood a great deal more of it, and that it seemed to make more sense in tremendous ways. Also, the worship was brilliant! I teared during the final part of the worship, and the presence of God was just so great. Aye... totally unexpected from a service where you know (or thought you knew) what to expect.
Anyway, after that, Karnex, Ashley and I took 858 to Khatib to have lunch with Jonathan before going off to play soccer at Pasir Ris with Alvin and a group of friends from the last time round. Well, I can't say much for the soccer, our team lost every single match save 2! Heck, and we always lost through some very (and really very, lemme tell you) last minute luck shots by the other team. Zzz. Unbelievable. I won't blame anyone for our losses, but I was directly responsible for the loss of one game though. Also, the other teams were freaking violent. The Malays played very well, but most of the Chinese just sucked, seriously. One guy pushed me in midair so he could get another ball, another kept stepping on my foot with his boots, and another just had a problem with me from the start. He dribbled the ball out, and when I called it, he said that just because he dribbled it past me I was making excuses to get the ball back. Geez! Everyone saw it go out! Even his own teammate said it, but he still accused me. Later on, when he went off, and everyone said bye, I also said bye, not noticing it was really him. He gave me some pissed off look and started mumbling (real loud) about my attitude sucks and blah blah. I can't believe I actually said bye to him -.-. Okay, at least I made a new friend called Ray, and got to know my teammates better.
Went back home, and afterward, went to Koh Wee's place to stay over, plus play tennis on our PSP's. Zzz, I lost every match, by just a point, almost every single time! Zzz. I "counted down" to my birthday at his place. Heh... kudos to Gary for the first birthday wish! Usually Debbie's the one who achieves that. Ha!
So how did I celebrate my birthday? Well... check the next post. I think it deserves a post in itself, not because it's my birthday, but because of the people involved and what they did. Heh.

Aye... had a nice cellgroup meeting yesterday.
The journey there was hell though -.-. I had decided to bring along Hui Zhen's keyboard along after borrowing it last year (whoops), and Ashley's UMD. Plus, I needed to pick up Jonathan's guitar for cellgroup meeting. That meant I was carrying two instruments at one time! I had tons of people staring at me on the buses, and I always took up two seats with the instruments. There was one part I had to get on a really, really crowded bus, and thankfully, some guy helped me hold the keyboard while I held onto the guitar. When I tried to get off, and the bus driver closed the doors before I could get off, a buncha people surrounding me all YELLED to the bus driver to stop. I thanked everyone who helped me before I got off. Who said chivalry is dead around here?
I had to lug the two big instruments to Isabel's place, which was quite alright, though the weight eventually takes its burdens on your arms. My left arm still aches right now. Caught up and chatted more with the members and had cellgroup meeting after that. Then someone lost her phone so the entire cellgroup went to help find it, to no avail. Aye... we had a consolation though, free donuts =x.
I went off with Jonathan and Jessica, and had a great time chatting with them. Jessica was torturing me through out the ride though! YAWN! LOL!
Anyway, when I got home I was dead tired. I went online, and then laid down on my bed while using my laptop. Then the last thing I remember was waking up -.-. I checked my MSN convo's and I had like over 20 conversation windows open! Shoulda taken a screenshot of that. Aye! Freaking nuts, all that. But I didn't, 'cause my first act was to reply everyone something like "hey sorry, i fell asleep while using the com last nite. lol". Call it impulse or what, but I just don't like to leave people ignored, and I don't. Unless I fall asleep while using my laptop that is =x.
Anyway, service is on later. I know Pastor Kong won't be preaching 'cause he's over at CHC KL, from Fri-Sun. Aw man, the week I come back is the week he's going up there, where I've been for the last three weeks. Oh well, revelations from God don't depend entirely on the pastor anyway, so God grant us something from your servant =D.
And the cellgroup's gonna celebrate two birthdays later. I don't mean to be a spoilsport. I just mean that being in church for 6 years, you know what to expect -.-, and yeah, I know that's going on -.-. Heh. I still got like 5 hours till service. What should I do till then?

Aye... I'm finally back in Singapore!
Let's just say the journey here was too eventful for me -.-. Firstly, once I got up, my mom took me to have breakfast, and drove me to the LRT station, where I got off at some place called Masjid Jamek. Then I walked an excruciating 15 minutes in the hot sun carrying all my luggage to Puduraya Terminal. Some guy approached me to ask whether I'm going to JB. Call it luck, but so far I've always accepted and got onto buses that were moderately crowded, meaning it'd leave sooner. When I paid and got on, I was the first person inside! I settled down in the furthest seat in the back and after that some guy walked toward me screaming and yelling in Malay. HEY, what did I DO?! I kept yelling back "Speak English" and he'd yell all the more longer. Not until I heard the words "drivah sit" did I begin to think about his words. I looked up, and in big bold letters was the word DRIVER written on masking tape. Like I'd know! This is the first bus that has a driver's seat in the back of the bus! GEEZ.
I waited nearly an hour till the bus was full, which is a record time high for bus waiting -.-. On the journey back, it was quite alright, although the time wasted in waiting had ticked me off, 'cause I was hoping to go to Bible study classes. Once I reached Larkin, I took 170 back to Singapore, and the bus had taken 4 and half hours, much faster compared to the usual 5-6 hours. So I still had hope to reach Riverwalk on time. That hope flew out the window once I reached Singapore checkpoint. Although the bus services were sparse, there were only 4 lanes open. 4!!! And the lines for each lane were so long they had reached the door. Ridiculous! Since the beginning of 2008, the checkpoint services have begun to suck terribly! Nothing Mas Selamat does should make there only be 4 damn lanes open. Oh man. I waited half an hour and I moved around 30cm only? So I tried my luck in the Singapore lane, which was faster. Then I realized, my student pass has expired! I needa use the white card like all the normal people now -.-, and the lady who rejected my entry wasn't all too kind either. So I filled in the white card and waited in line. Again. From the back. After this time, another lane (finally) opened, and I quickly rushed there, making it near the front. That cut my waiting time, but by then it was already 7:30pm. Bible study starts at the exact same time -.-. By the time I reached my rental place it was close to 8. So I just dropped my stuff and headed to Riverwalk to visit my cellgroup. I got cheered up at least, after being gone for like 3 weeks. Had a meal with them and caught up a bit with a few of the members. I accompanied Jessica back home and went back home. Then I realized I'm paying adult fare!
Then at night I went over to Koh Wee's house to stay over, just to chill, watch movies and eat. A lot! We stayed up till the morning hours and walked to Causeway Point to eat Mac. Today we repeated almost exactly all that, haha! And I prefer Black over White =p. Inside joke, heh.
As if drama wouldn't start on my second day back, it did! I was supposed to do the songsheet, and I planned out the time carefully. I would start at 1:30pm, then finish at 2+, then send it, and have plenty of time to surf the net. Well, there were a few problems. Actually, MANY. I couldn't access guitar4christ.com, which has all the lyrics I need. Even though I logged myself in, guitar4christ said I wasn't logged in at all. I tried logging into Hotmail and Yahoo! and both said I had cookie problems with my browser. AYE! How can I send a songsheet if I can't even access my own email?! Heck, worst still, how can I send a songsheet with no song lyrics inside? So I needed to send the songsheet by 3pm, but with all that waiting time, it was nearly 3pm by the time I decided to do something quite drastic. I inserted my laptop battery and walked outside my block, looking for an unsecured wireless connection. Wireless@SG isn't available near residential places, so I had to hope one family was naive enough to leave it open. After 10 minutes of walking around with my laptop in my hand, constantly refreshing the wireless connection, I finally found one. I quickly signed into guitar4christ, finished up the songsheet and sent it through Hotmail. And right after I sent the songsheet, my battery promptly died. WHEW!
Gotta take a shower, go to Khatib to pick up the guitar, and attend cellgroup meeting later. Please, I've had enough drama for one day -.-.
