Where will you be my darling? Where will you be when the dark is rising?

I guess it's time for a real post. Heh. I think I better post about the final days in Singapore and my birthday post after this. Or else I'll probably never get around to posting them. Don't wanna end up like Wai Kwan, posting stuff weeks (or months!) after they happen =x.
Anyhoo! For cellgroup, I'm back to doing the songsheets again, just like in E458. 'Cause I was always the only designer back then for E458, and now, since Jessica's in W49, I'll be doing it for W19, since I'm the only designer again, lol. Over here, its slightly different. The songsheet, sermon and announcements are all in one piece of paper collectively known as the bulletin, instead of the song lyrics only, back in CHC SG. Here's a comparison of mine compared to Jessica's.
It's not alike at all! The first thing said about my bulletin was "This is so 'Howe'". Lmao.
And while doing the bulletin in school, here's the school bulletin... notice the bottom right.
It's pastor Kong! That card's from CHCKL. I guess a churchmate/schoolmate posted it up there. Cool. It's funny how my own pastor in Singapore is an overseas pastor up here. Ironic.
Friday was my first lesson with Lily in the new year. I'm quite sure she hasn't forgotten the complaint I lodged last year. And I could see it. No details here -.-. Regardless, she wasn't in a bad mood (maybe 'cause its the first day, and she hasn't had any assignments to criticize yet) but her workload was just as bad as last time. 5 assignments and a project on the first damn lesson!
The weekends were better. Saturday was service, and Keith preached. Eh, it wasn't a totally original message though. It was straight out of The Purpose Driven Life! One of the most popular Christian books ever. While listening to the sermon, I was recounting exactly what I read from the book last time. Okay, it was still a blessing at least. And there were some points to make it more relevant to us, plus his own stories.
Sunday was my 8th blood donation so far. Same usual processes. And it seems that the way they inject the anesthetic here is much more painful than in Singapore -.-. Zzz, they do it very quickly, and there's a bulge in your skin that slowly disippates. Same old process though, after that. No difference. I'm used to it already
I still don't know what this sachet is for. It's not present in the blood donations in Singapore. Also, that's not where the donated blood goes. But I don't see a use in this sachet =/.
In better lighting, after I held it up. Blood! Blood, blood! Not funny (inside joke)!
They take capsules of blood for testing. With the capsules, I don't see what that extra sachet is for =/.
Better view. I stupidly shook the capsule on the right -.-. Whoopsies.
I also went to support Kean Hoong and Denise for the preaching test after the blood donation. Well done! Although the best of the best was Daniel. Not the W9 Daniel. Another one. he memorized the entire sermon and spoke so confidently, it was as if he was a seasoned preacher. Nice!
I went to the arcade on Monday night. And while playing, half the arcade blacked out! What the hell! Here's the result.
My Bible, right beside The God Delusion. I've also been re-reading The God Delusion for like the 3rd time. Just segments and chapters though, this time, just to get a better idea of Dawkin's suggestions. Also, with the new unveiling of Darwinius masillae, aka, Ida, I'm even more inclined to re-read it. I'm sure this is gonna give more hell towards evolution/creation debates.
