Where will you be my darling? Where will you be when the dark is rising?

Man... this is only the 3rd week of school and I've already not slept for over 35 hours again for this week. Thank my visual fundamentals subject, which is just a fancy name for figure studies 4 -.-. Zzz. 16 figures in one week! "What the hell" was my first reaction. Thanks to a bit of slacking and piling assignments, I didn't manage to finish on time, and I needed an extra day to complete the remaining ones. Thanks JT for the extension! And no, JT isn't Justin Timberlake -.-, he's the class tutor for the subject.
Anyhoo, the weekend service last week was with Pastor Kong! A brilliant service on relationships. The differences between men and women, and the top 5 needs for each. It was mainly for married couples, but there was plenty of info for people who were in a relationship, and those looking to get into one (big group that includes me). Pastor Kong used the drama team from Singapore to do the same skits to bring out a point, except they changed it to a Malaysian context instead. Heh. Anyhoo, here's the top 5 needs of a WOMAN!
1. Affection 2. Conversation 3. Honesty 4. Financial support 5. Family commitment
Women need at least 15 hours of conversation a week with their spouse. Women need the assurance that the man will have enough for her and the family.
And it's the guys turn, MEN!
1. Sexual fulfillment 2. Recreational companionship 3. Attractive spouse 4. Domestic support 5. Admiration
Men need 15 hours of recreational activities of any kind with their spouse. Men need to learn how to hug. It's the most basic form of affection.
The men's needs might seem shallow, but its the way men are geared and wired. Of course, no sex for the unmarried couples though. It's just the facts of the research. These needs actually came through the research of 40 000 couples over 20 years, and so it basically represents most of humanity. And I have to say, it really does make sense. Each need, if complemented properly with the other opposite sex fits perfectly and makes brilliant sense. Of course, I'm not the preacher here, so you'd need to listen to Pastor Kong if you'd like all the juicy details =p. There was no mincing on the issues of sex and all too, because if the church is not going to teach you properly, as so many conservative churches do, then how are you going to learn properly? Hollywood and sitcoms are totally not the best resources.
On Sunday after the final service we also prepared for Faith's birthday celebration! After weeks of discussions and planning, we planned to book a karaoke room, and have Heng ask her out and then bring her in, and we'd surprise her. Well... don't know how to say the details. But otherwise... success!
And today, I was just so freaking tired thanks to staying up to do the figures. Had advertising principles in the morning, and then later on went to watch Miki's drama skit, where I was also the narrator. Heh, but I neeeded to go off though, with Neal, to Gloria Jeans. Since we need to promote a product or service from a real client for our advertising principles class, we picked a selection, and Gloria Jeans seems the most open to the idea. Heh, Harrots shot us down pretty bad. Kin Yaw chickened out on La Senza! HAHAHA! It's a lingerie company, for the un-Sunway Pyramided people.
Anyhoo, our meeting went well, and it's almost guaranteed anyway, just need the formal letter to the big boss, and we have permission. They also treated us with any item on their menu. Woots. I like!
Ate at Chola Spice with Ruz later on. Better service than the pissing-off service they had last time -.-. Aiks.
And, I finally asked her out for a date. And guess what? SHE'S BRINGING A FRIEND! Whaaaaaa? Nooooo! Emo emo emo! ZZZ! Oiiiiii. It's no longer a date. Aye!
