Where will you be my darling? Where will you be when the dark is rising?

Well.... 2nd day of school is over. What a surprise so far. On the first day, we had visual fundamentals. What did we do? DRAW! On the first day! It was like figure studies 4 or something! Geez! Anyhoo, Henry, Licia, Kok Kin and I had like a 3 hour chat in Ming Tien around dinner time. And today, Miki picked me up in the morning. After class, which was about advertising principles (we need to find real clients and create 6 advertisements for them... what the hell), I just hung out with a few others in AD class. Then I went to the arcade with Ruz, where I died so freaking early (and bad) in Time Crisis 3. We also played Ninja Assault, which I've only ever finished once in my life. We were like a stage away from the final stage. Yeesh! We got killed by these bloody midgets who look like ultraman but are damn CUTE!
They looked cuter while we were shooting them =/.
Oooh, look, snowballs!
Went back to school and hung out in the library with Celine, Wai Kwan and Jun Yuen. Lmao conversations -.-. Miki drove me back after her class was done and we had dinner together at some restaurant back in Cheras. Once I arrived home, I fell asleep on the bed. And I woke up at 1am. Yeah. I checked my blog, read through a few others... and well, I saw so many cases of recent breakups among my friends. I can easily recall ten breakups that occured recently. Hmmm... I know it won't be that big of a deal, or some great assistance, but I thought I'd post some notes I wrote during Pat Mesiti's services here. They're quite interesting, and although I didn't include his humour in my notes, you can assure I included the power and spirit they represented. I hope they'll mean something to you.
There are four main stages in friendship. Introduction-->Acquaintance-->Friendship-->Intimacy (not necessarily physical or relationship-wise). Intimacy, sounds much alike "Into me, see." And it is something like that, isn't it?
You should not be afraid of the verbal attacks of your enemies. You should be afraid of the silence of your friends when they do not defend you.
Best of friends often share a common pain.
If you want to build a good connection, you have to share their pain.
You can have friends fight with you in your battles, but not fight your battles.
A true friend offers to you his robe, armour, girdle, and sword. The robe represents glory. He will share his glory, and cover you with it, with encouragements, with praises, with honour. Armour represents protection. He will be there to protect you, to fight with you and to help you from harm. Girdle, or a belt in modern terms. Belts hold your pants or skirts up. Basically, its saying that friends will support and hold you up, to cover your vulnerabilities and insecurities. Girdles in ancient times also had sheaths, to hold swords. And finally, their sword. When he gives you his sword, he gives you his weapon, his strengths. And its held in your sheath. Also, it means that should you get attacked, it will never be his sword against you, but his weapon will be there for you to use.
Often, the sword of the enemy are the words of people.
Words can be swords. WORDSWORDSWORDS (its "words" repeated 3 times. Look at the italics)
For Christians, friends should strengthen your hand in God.
You may be the perfect friend, but still never fulfill your own potential. You shouldn't, and can't fight everyone's problems. Do not fight battles that are not your own.
Deep eh? I was blown away by Pat Mesiti's preaching. Listening to the entire thing would be much better than seeing my notes, which often aren't that detailed.
About business and the workplace:
God may give you promises, but He does not always tell you the pain you have to go through for that promise.
Pain softens you. It also makes you stronger.
The words of Jesus save lives. Following the teachings of Jesus makes us grow.
For Christians, if you want the riches of the world transfered to the house of God, you must be their problem solver.
You will be remembered by people for your solutions, plus the problems you create.
If you have to tell people you are someone or something, then simply, you aren't.
Get a plan, then serve the world.
Always have a sustained effort, a continuous plan.
Wisdom comes with evalutated experience.
When you give solutions to the world, they will transfer their wealth to you.
You can work in the supernatural, without all the spectacular.
Be on time. Add value to your boss. Be sincere. Don't care about titles.
If you want to prosper, make a deal. Everyone makes deals, even God. They're called covenants.
When you prosper and create solutions, you create abundance for everyone.
Yeah. That's about it. I hope they blessed you =).
