Where will you be my darling? Where will you be when the dark is rising?

Okay, okay, so shoot me for the lack of updates -.-. I have good excuses! My inernet was cut for over one week! And as for the second week of no updates... eh, blame assignments =x. They're always the best excuse =p.
Oh, and since I have posted anything in a while, and I'm on holidays, its going to be quite a long post. Enjoy!
This morning I had probably the weirdest and most painful (literally) dream ever. I dreamt I was back in Canada, and that I was going through some areas that I hadn't seen in ages. But it felt weird, 'cause I was a bit conscious in the dream, and I knew any dream I had of me in Canada had to surely be a dream. I slapped myself, hit my leg, pinched myself, but I still didn't wake up, and that kinda assured in me that it was reality after all. Later on I played basketball (still in the dream) and I suffered a very bad leg cramp, it was freaking painful, and nothing I seemed to do could soothe it! I rested after it settled down naturally, which was a bloody painful procedure and I had doubts I was in Canada again. I hit myself again to see if I was still dreaming and I still felt the pain, but it didn't assure me this time. I closed my eyes, and said "in a short while, I'll be back in KL", and when I woke up, I was back in my bed, back in reality. Whew!
But there was something really wrong. My thigh had a slap mark on it, my arm had very faint mark of being pinched, and my left leg was extremely sore. I got up to go to the washroom and I collapsed on the floor with overwhelming pain -.-. Turns out that I was really hitting myself while dreaming, and that I HAD A LEG CRAMP WHILE SLEEPING! Is that possible?! What the hell! I've had leg cramps while playing sports, I've had leg cramps when I've woken up (which was the most extreme weirdness till today) but I've never had one while sleeping! And it settled naturally! Crap! Anyone who's ever had a leg cramp will tell you how bloody much it hurts when you don't do anything at all and let it settle naturally. Zzz.
Now walking around the house is bloody painful, and when I'm sitting or lying down, its extremely sore, pfft.
*Sigh*... anyway. I guess I should backtrack. Two weeks ago I Meng Sheng, Zi Yuan and I watched Drag Me To Hell. Yeah, for me it was a repeat, since it was free the first time, and I enjoyed it enough to watch it a second time. Meng Shen did fine... but Zi Yuan kept covering her ears for all the scary parts. Lmao, most girls cover their eyes -.-. We ate at a Japanese restaurant after that, and accompanied Zi Yuan home, and I took the bus back. Lucky me, I made it back to my station on time, 'cause the other day I was stuck at Puduraya when Plaza Rakyat station closed. Zzz.
On Saturday (still in the 2 weeks ago) I had service, and the title of the sermon was The Christian Mind. The thinkings of a true Christian. Very often, our inability to articulate how we live to what we believe has led many people to call Christians hypocrites. In that sense, many Christians don't know how to balance being humble and doing well in life. For this series, Pastor Kevin gave 30 common criticisms of Christians. So, for everyone who's curious, here they are.
Anti-homosexual Judgemental Hypocritical Too legalistic and unforgiving Out of touch with reality Old fashioned Insensitive to others Boring Not accepting of other's faiths Confusing Naive Always talk about money Superspiritual, ultra holy Christians only helping Christians Stingy Forceful Fake Unattractive Always and only talk about God Spend too much time in church No social life Church is rich Always giving money to church Talk only Ignoring family Act smart The guys are too soft Weird Don't honour ancestors Substandard
Interesting eh? Each week, Pastor Kevin would pick 3 of them, talk about why they talk about Christians, and clear up any inconsistencies with the criticism. If the criticism was consistent and valid, then Pastor would teach about how to improve ourselves on it and all. Very good material. Oh, on Father's day weekend, Keith preached and after service we all had to SMS our dads "you are my hero. I love you, happ father's day". All of us had interesting replies from our dads. Heh.
For fellowship we ate at some restaurant with damn good food, and it was also the farewell dinner of Hansen, who would be going back to Indonesia, since his studies here in Monash were finished. Aiks, we'll miss you! There'll be no more bloody tall guy blocking the screen and stage from me anymore -.-. LOl.
Then last week, it was quite a busy week. Monday we had more figures, again. Tuesday was the start of the morning prayer meetings again for this month, from Tuesday to Friday, 6:15 to 7:15. For school, I had advertising principles and CGPP, but I left halfway 'cause I needed to help Miki narrate her drama, which was about angles and demons. Yeah, you read that correct. Angles, not angels -.-. Lmao! Demons against math! HAHAHAHA. The script was so bloody full of typos, it was a pain reading it. Editing the narration parts for myself also took a much longer time than necessary due to the bad English. Here's a few more laughable lines.
A thousand years ago, there was once a war between angles and demons. (I see, just like me, demons hated math... to the extent of having war with them)
3quatter of the world was under his control. (I'd rather he type 3/4. At least I wouldn't be laughing here)
Speack it. (Originally speak it. Geez, now it sounds like he's asking the guy to speack a fly)
Ya, he is dead, but he got reincarhated. (Sad eh? You're reborn in a new life but you're hated in the process)
Helios is a hen. (LOL at this one! It's supposed to be hero)
You got reincarted ah? (Lmao! He got carted! Where's the trolley?!)
The demon king has awakened and is attacking our angle now! (Oh no! What will we do? Protect 90° and 180°. 360° should be able to protect everyone around himself!)
Evolate and Helios went back to haven (Due to luck of the English language, this isn't so laughable... but it should be heaven, not a haven -.-)
Helios! It's been a long time since we last meat. I miss you so munch! (LOL!!!!!! The BEST line in the entire drama)
Yeah... I narrated fine, except for one mess up. They ended up getting an A- in the end. Not bad. I stayed behind to watch the 2nd drama, a humourous one, which was really funny, but lacked a strong storyline. Oh well. Miki's group, consisting of her, Chee Hong, Patrick, Esther, ZZ (his nickname, I don't know his real name) and I went to eat at a steamboat after that.
The next day even though I had no school, I came back again due to helping Ivan out with his movie poster design for his assignment. Well, not too bad I think. Also, Justin and Lucas invited me to watch their drama. I sat through 3 dramas from that class. The first was an interesting story of a girl who killed her brother because her husband was a gay man who liked the brother. The brother gets revenge and she dies in the same manner as the final scene of Drag Me To Hell. Their props preparation was freaking long though, so much so that their acting time was shorter than their preparation time for each scene. Justin and Lucas' drama was about two best friends who were gangster and fighters, and about reaching the top together. Eventually, Lucas goes to jail to save Justin, and Justin ends up being the king, albeit with a cockiness and ruthlessness Lucas can't stand. They fight, and both die, along their their other friend, due to an asthma attack. The final group was Joshua's group, which was partly a musical. Think of something similar to that movie starring Rhona Mitra, where a virus wipes out most of humanity, and the outside world is a deadly place. I can't remember the movie title -.-. Well, kudos to them, 'cause they memorized the singing lines well. All the groups received an A.
Thursday we had our moral class test. Easy, except with a few tricky questions that made it slightly-not-so-easy. I kinda forgot what happened after that =/. I did have cellgroup meeting after that though.
Friday was torture. After waking up at 5am the last few days for the morning prayer meeting, plus sleeping late due to assignments, I was bloody tired for Lily's class in typography. After having 98 ideas rejected over the last 3 weeks, she finally accepted one! One! Geez! Later on we had creative thinking, and I was sleeping throughout the entire lesson. Sorry!
Later on Kok Kin, Ruz and I went to get Wai Kwan's presents. First was a really good looking package that only contained figure references, since she loves figures so much. Lol... the real present though, was a bracelet we bought, with 3 crystalline stars, representing each of us. We ate at Circle, where the food is good but the prices are damn reasonable! It was a double birthday celebration, with Wai Kwan and Fei Yan celebrating their birthdays. So best wishes, you two. Happy birthday Wai Kwan from Essenism =D.
Saturday we had service, and it was part 2 of the Christian mind. More criticism of Christians settled. We ate and then went off to 1 Utama for Transformers 2! And my mom lent me the car too! Woots! It was good speeding there. Heh. Well, after playing in the arcade (and doing quite well, surprisingly for House of the Dead 4) we went to the cinemas. How's the movie? Bloody good! It's very exciting and immense, and the closeups of the Transformers are done nicely. The humour and historical background were done very well, but my only complaint was that some of the fight scenes were too short. The Fallen died so fast -.-, I know Optimus was souped-up but I didn't think Fallen would lose so easily. All in all, a good movie.
After going out, all of us chatted in the carpark with the rest of the people who had come to watch (26 in total). As I walked to my car, I banged my nuts on a pole. Yeah... I'm serious. I don't know how I did that -.-. I drove Sze Ying back home, and Ruz was staying over my place.
Next day, which was yesterday in real time, Ruz and I went to church for the grooming workshop. Purely just how to look better, and fashion styles and all. For both the guy's and girls. Eh, lemme try to list down the things I remember for guys, and girls.
GUYS! Black and white are always in style. Calvin Klein underwear is very good to have (LOL at this!) Girls will take notice of your shoes, so have a good pair. converse shoes are essential with most non-formal looks. Jeans should fit you just nicely. Loose and baggy jeans don't look nice at all. They're also long out of fashion. Every man needs deodorant and cologne. Spray behind your ears and neck. Don't wear too many accessories. Having too many takes away the attention they bring. Guy's with long hair should keep them neat and smooth. Guy's with short hair should keep them tidy and stylish. Every man should own one suit. Always leave the last button unbuttoned. When you sit down, you should unbutton all the buttons. When you stand up, rebutton them. This is basic manners.
GIRLS! Every girl needs good bra and panties (No kidding) Wear a push up bra if you want to. Nothing wrong with it. High heels will match almost anything. Girls with nice legs should wear miniskirts or hotshorts. If you've got it, why not flaunt it? When wearing miniskirts or hotshorts, heels or flats will match best. Girls who have big hips and/or thighs should avoid miniskirts. Slightly above knee length skirts will do nicely. Wear accessories that complement your clothes. A belt that matches will make you waist look slimmer. Contrasting colours will bring more attention to your waist, in a good sense. Make up is essential if you want to look really nice.
Generally, both both genders: Dressing nicely is having good manners. Fashion comes and goes, but style is constant. You need to dress according to your own style. There's no point in dressing with the latest fashions when you don't like it.
I've forgotten a lot -.-. Lol... whoops. But I remember most. We also had a nutritional talk later on. The usual health stuff.
Later on I drove back Issey, Brian and Yuan Ying. It was supposed to include Sze Ying and Michael, but Kean Hoong offered to drive them back. Not bad... quite interesting knowing the unknown areas of Cheras. Also had steamboat with Kean Hoong and Michael afterwards. Kean Hoong treated us, thanks!
Ok... quite a long post. I did warn you. Kudos if you read it all, lol.
