Where will you be my darling? Where will you be when the dark is rising?

Aye... I'm in my second bed now. Heh... aka, the big comfy yellow couch in the library. I think its the first time this year I've blogged in school, and definitely the first time on my laptop on my second bed!
Anyhoo, last weekend, after service and fellowship, Faith, Issey, James, Venetia and Hui Wearn (welcome back!) and I went to Bukit Bintang to drink and play pool, in some bar called Pinchos Tapas Bar. It's not that hip, but looks like those old tavern bars you always see in movies. It's hidden, along with a whole row of bars and grills, in Jalan Ceylon. Interesting place, but it was freaking jammed getting there. The traffic moved slower than snails, honestly. I found out later Wai Yern was stuck in the jam too, and was beside me for a while! Haha!
Speaking of drinking, my mom's friend from the US (her childhood friend) came back to do train workers, and I went to Bukit Bintang (also) a while back to meet him. Very friendly and humourous, I went to the JW Marriot where they had free food and drinks for the hotel residents. I tried my first Caesar salad, and my gosh! It's freaking delicious! Everyone knows I hate veggies, and I only eat them sparingly. However, I took like 3-4 plates of the Caeser salad, being extremely generous on all the leafy and green stuff, plus some ham and dressing. Yum~~~. I also tried gin and tonic, which is some drink I've always heard but never tried (the name is a turnoff) and it's surprisingly zesty and nice. I drank around 3 cups. Free alcohol. How can I say no?
And Sunday was an interesting day. At Sunway Pyramid, I bought all my formal attire for the church 8th anniversary this coming Sunday, the gala dinner at Sunway Hotel's ballroom. Geez. After trying on countless things, I eventually bought a suit (my very first!), formal white shirt, formal pants, formal shoes all for under RM 200, due to a huge last-day sale. You'll see how I look very, very soon...
Oh, and on Tuesday I had my advertising principles presentation, presenting Nike Bauer ice skates, distributed in Malaysia only by Skate Sports. We needed to do 6 advertisements, and do a presentation showing how they look, work and all. My group did pretty well, although I was late when I told them to come early. Deepest apologies, I have no excuse there. The other's didn't really bombard us with questions, so we were safe. Then we got mean and asked them totally out of the box, yet logical questions. HA! Like Wai Yern's group was doing Dreamstar. You make a design, and they'll design it in Hong Kong, then send it to Malaysia and there you go. They had the pricing for all the different sizes, crystals, advertisement costs, and such. But they couldn't answer my question: What's the cost of the import tax? LOL
Later on I stayed over at Ruz's home for the first time in a long time (long story), and watched Silent Hill! Woots! Pretty good movie, although they practically didn't follow the game storyline at all. It was however, still a very enjoyable movie. All the gore and monsters from the games make good appearances on screen, although the trademark Pyramid Head and nurses don't have much to do in the movie. Pyramid Head's kill scene was damn nice though. Heh!
And something creepy happened when I was over at his place too. Last time, when I stayed over, while he was sleeping, his speaker started to make deep, breathing noises, and it wasn't static for sure. After a while it faded, which is unlike static, which starts and stops suddenly. So while Ruz was accessing his blog, some weird creepy noises started coming from the speaker, something that sounded like those ghostly "wooo" sounds. When he closed his blog window, it stopped. It woulda been alright... but the thing is, his blog doesn't have any sounds at all. Yikes, anybody?
