Where will you be my darling? Where will you be when the dark is rising?

Is it me or has the weather been EXTREMELY hot the last few days?
I mean it's freaking boiling! My aircon broke down a few months ago, so I've been sleeping without aircon for quite some time. My nights haven't been as comfortable since. I've got a ceiling fan which is alright, but not cooling enough. Worst still with the weather so hot the last few days. So you know what I did? I put two more fans in the room!
That's how it is when I use my laptop.
Even with 3 freaking fans blowing at me while I'm using my laptop, it's still freaking warm! And my aircon, it actually works, it blows air, but it isn't cold. Just room temperature. So in a sense, I've got 4 fans! And IT DOESN'T HELP! Plus, when I sleep and position the fans to blow at me when I'm on my bed, I also still feel extremely hot. Geez. Every morning I wake up there's mild sweat on my bed, which has never happened before. I've heard of cold sweat while waking up, but warm sweat due to the hot temperature? This is a first. Lmao.
And to add on more to the heat description. I brought a can of beer into my room from the fridge. I went to the washroom for a few seconds, and when I came back, the condensation on my can was if I had left it there for like 15 minutes! Super wet and dripping already. I put it on the floor so it wouldn't stain my table, and there was a major puddle on the floor after I forgot about the beer. Then I was lazy to get another can so I just drank the warm beer. Yuck. Warm. Beer. Zzz.
So anyway, I've been at Henry's house the last few days and Kok Kin's come back to visit us too. Had a small gathering of Henry, Ruz, Andrew, Kok Kin and I and watched the Tooth Fairy. Freaking hilarious! Totally worth it. Had a good time catching up too.
What else has been happening lately? Well, I bartered my own blood a few weeks ago with a hospital. Funny right? I've never heard of that before. One of my friends has a blood condition, and she needs monthly transfusions. But due to the CNY festivities, they're on short supply, and can't provide a transfusion as per normal. So they had a deal. Get anyone to donate blood on your behalf, and they'll provide the transfusion for you. Blood for blood. So, it's been quite some time since my last blood donation, so I volunteered, since I was past my "donation due date" and wanted to help out. And it marks my tenth time donating blood. But it's also my first time doing it in the hospital instead of a City Harvest organized one.
And boy, there's a few noticeable differences. They use a lot more machinery there, and have this shaker thingy that constantly shakes the bag of blood. I think it works as a weight too, since it'll ring and a light will turn red when the bag is full. Plus, the blood pressure thingy looks more high tech. The chairs are WAY more comfortable too. Bloody big brown leather chairs! Haha! After finishing, I spammed the sandwiches, eating 3 or 4 of them. It's the first time I spammed food after a donation in Malaysia, since they're a lot more stingier with the food than Singapore, which has a bloody pile for anyone to take. Plus, here, they never let you keep the "stress ball" which you squeeze to keep your blood flowing. Aww...
Oh well... the point is to donate blood, not eat food and take stress balls. Lmao.
Anyway, luckily for me, Henry's place has aircon, so I haven't died yet, although the sun is like totally melting me. This has led me to be accused as a vampire! Haha! And I'll be going to Genting this weekend with Fei Yan, Shana, Aili and uh... some other girls. I don't know who else is coming. At least it'll be cooler on a mountain.
