hmm... its been a while since i blogged... well i'm not really in the mood to blog, so i'll try to keep it short.. haha, so here's wats been up since around the last week of jan
on sat was svc... with rev AR bernard.. woots, he taught us about our values... our values to ourself, to ppl, and ultimately our values to God.. haha.. was a very enlightening and good msg.. while our values to other ppl may vary according to our interactions with them, our values to God never change, we are always loved and are always valued in the highest.. amen to that!
then on feb 2 i played bball for the 1st time in 3 mths... its been ages since i last played and man, i have lost a LOT of skill... lol, man, i had a hard time shooting and stuff... had to get used to jus dribbling again, aye... well, nich weiyu and wilson were there too,, and damn, wilson's got rid of like almost all of his pimples! no more puki face! LOL... neway while playing some fuchun sec ppl challenged us, and as usual when i'm around (cuz the rest arent too social), we became frens... hmm, one guy was called kenneth, another guy haan (we referenced him to the guy who died in tokyo drift, sorry =x), another one was shawn (the new DK... drift king, so we kept calling him DK) and the remaining guy i forgot his name.. it was "sth chiong".., so i jus called him "chiong ah!", lmao.... plus since we couldnt call wilson puki face nemore cuz he lost almost all his pimples, we started calling him coconut head, cuz if u watch the movie cast away, u'll get wat i mean...lol
played around 3 hrs b4 they left and then jerome arrived.. heh, he owed me a 1 on 1 match for like 3 yrs so we finally played.. aye, we couldnt finish it cuz aside from the fact that i was extremely tired from 3 hrs bball prior on my re-debut after a 3 mth long hiatus and that jerome was in a rush, we kept scoring like mad till it was 5-5 in less than 7 mins..but after that for the next 5 mins, none of us could score! lol.. so since he was rushing off and i was feeling the effects of my first blister of the yr we stopped and considered it a draw... craps, cuz i was hoping that my 1st match in 2007 woulda been a win.. haha, oh well..after that i still accepted a 3v1 match against nich, weiyu and wilson.... crazy... i lost of course.. 7-4, not too bad considering i felt like collapsing already...after that we went off... went back home and yea, "enjoyed" myself while i opened up the blister on my foot... so much water!
next day was svc... with pst ulf ekman... he gave a msg of missions.. u know, traveling around the world as a missionary to spread the gospel...it was a brilliant msg, plus tons of humour from his re-tellings of his previous missionary journeys.. the cockroaches, the food, the sicknesses and dangers of the ppl ur reaching out to.. he gave an altar call for those who wanted to be in missions and later another one for those who wanted to reach out even more.. i went down the the 2nd one.. yup.. God bless me in that area, had a good time fellowshipping but we left quite late cuz svc had ended at nearly 9pm.. svc starts at 5... i never realized the time passed so fast, heh
sunday i forgot wat i did =x...
next week i played bball again with weiyu and nich, tho i kinda forgot the details... the weekend was spent with my cg as svc again, this time with pst kong, with more msgs on the cultural mandate... very interesting learning about the amount of cultures and facts of the secular world around us too, sunday i forgot again =/
from mon-thurs was skool... pretty much a bore, tho on tues i played bball with kwokweng, dexter, chunkiat and cheeyong.. haha, played at np.. last time i went there was when adrian pangseh'd me...zzz, neway, we played at a court that needed an overhead bridge to reach there.. quite a nice place, tho very hot and sunny, with no cold water neaby.. learned the bball mingame bullet there and played a few rounds of forfeits... i won the 2nd round of bullet.. hehe... and later on a few 1v1 eliminations i came out on top... woots! me vs dexter final round....nice.. after that ate at the canteen near the swimming pool b4 heading off... talked on the bus with kwokweng about accidental castrations... LOL...
then thurs nite i went for my 1st cg in about a mth, mainly cuz of my grounding and the cancellations cuz of the ulf ekman conference... ah well, i was super early, reaching sembawang at 6 after chatting with minkuan and yangsheng on the mrt after skool.. so i wasted some time going around sun plaza, which was extremely dull, till i entered mount zion bookshop.. i've been looking for a book called "martyrs".. its quite a big book that has a very beautiful cover with some kinda logo on the front and the word martyrs splashed over it... about the martyrs of Christ over the centuries.. aye, it was sold out when i wanted to buy it last week but i cant find it in other bookshops..zzz, while looking around the bookshop the aunty kept asking me on spiritual issues she wasnt sure of in a book she was reading... well, i answered all of them easily, but i felt awkward but good that i was helping this aunty in her spiritual journey.... haha.... cant say the same for others tho...zzz, nvm about that
after an hr of waiting i headed to the control station and waited for everyone else and off we went to eleanore's house.. 1st time being there.. woots.. well altho it was my 1st cg in a long time there were only like 10 ppl to make up the cg.. everyone wasnt free i guess, but wow.. the praise and worship was powerful nonetheless and cheekiong gave a msg about mountains... how we overcome them, wat does it mean to conquer one and our views on it... well, it was interesting... isabel's one was funny.. i'm better than everyone....lmao! had fellowship eating sushi and ice cream after that.... and i rushed off home, reached back at 12.. zzz, had to run also jus to arrive at midnite... my dad wasnt angry, cuz it was his bday 1 min ago... and yea i wished him happy bday, tho i cant say the same for my sis
on fri i woke up a little late, but i took my own sweet time cuz i was wearing jeans, for going out after skool... zzz, i missed PE in the 1st lesson but went for iwad after that, which was mainly me playing need for speed carbon.. haha. and i finished the game with my skyline! woots! had help from andrew in winning darius tho... zzz, bloody difficult. aye, after that i took 963 to woodlands. and along the way i decided upon jay chou's Qing Tian for the base of the lyrics for the song the cg bros of n337 would sing to the sis.. lol... majority i finished, but i decided on reaching woodlands that i wouldnt use the entire song but the first 2.22 mins, as that made up most of the normal song which excluded the rapping in the later parts of the song. nehoo, i reached woodlands and changed and met up with nich, weiyu and wilson... tho i had a brief encounter with alvin ting, lihan and penghong after 2 yrs of not seeing each other.. lol. met up with kohwee after that and then met up with debbie on the 913 bus..man its been ages since i took that bus to drop off at msl sec.. well we got off and ate at the canteen 1st, and chatted up with all the juniors who were still there, plus a few grads like joreen (the cutie pie is still freaking cute), eugene and lixin among others... after long chats with all the juniors plus the noodles stall aunty, we went off to the hall to see the moment of truth... *dum dum dum*... the previous yr i was the 1st in the entire skool to get my results and when i turned around to announce that i din have to treat pizza hut (stipulation was that if i did well, i'd treat my class pizza hut...zzz, reminder of sth i had to do back in 2004 becuz i got top marks for history).. this time they showed the stats and i'm surprised... altho overall our generation did better, the younger generation completely trashed my generation in math.... heh.. not bad, top express student was anna ker, who got 8 pts for r5, while top student for NA was zhiming.. huge surprise! i thot it'd be nigel, who's been topping the NA ranks since sec 1... tho shallin also did well... and she looks prettier than ever.. aye, too bad her bf doesnt look half as good
after the results were slowly being released i did wat i always do when i come back to msl... look for ms koeh, LOL... she's still super pretty and altho i cant judge her teaching now that i've graduated, i can still say it was her who helped me pass my o lvl chinese... zzz, staying back almost everyday to help me out... i owe her plenty... haha.. my fave teacher.. sorry, cant stop bragging about her. lol.. i literally RAN to her after she got up from her seat and was leaving the hall... the rest followed after me and i called out to ms koeh she din hear me.. i shouted "xu lao shi!" and she turned... lmao...well we chatted for a bit and talked with the other 4 guys about life and skool... and then we went back to the hall to check up on her students and i saw plenty of tears... as always.. i was getting bored so i asked her take pics with me, kinda like a tradition since i've left skool.. haha... and we took around 5 pics... mainly cuz kohwee din bring his digicam so i was stuck with fone camera's of kohwee and nich... zzz, here's one, jus for a little display of the prettiest and my fave teacher.. and well, the remaining pics, ALL for me to keep =D

after a while we went back into the hall to see the remainder of the students... chatted up with the few i din chat with yet... then someone came up with the idea to play bball in skool.. lol, that was a brilliant idea as i hadnt played bball in ages in the msl skool court.. so wilson brought back to the bball from his house and off we went to play bball.. 1st we played bullet which i won, tho barely.. then a few rounds of abc's which i won again.. then me weiyu and wilson played 3v3 against our juniors.. i was surprised at how good they played, compared to weiyu and wilson.. tho we made it (sorry to brag, but mainly cuz of me) and won the match 11-6... after that a few more shootings with nich again b4 heading off... aye...me and nich walked around cwp after that to look around... one stranger gal looked at me and called me shuai.. lmao.. nich wun stop rubbing it in... cuz he claims i'm in denial i look better than him -.-...zzz, lets compare who looks better alrite?

yes i know we both look idiotic.... lol, thats the point... at least nich is getting hugged, as for me.. well... i look kinda retarded in my pic, see how handsome nich is? can get groped by guys..LOL
sat was svc. altho there was an event b4 that, called csi, some kinda investigative game between some teams.. lol, tho i had to miss the 1st part, cuz the previous nite i msn-ed james and he din reply for 45 mins and by that time i had fallen asleep on my lappy...then for jon, same thing, except he replied back around 5 mins earlier than james... zzz, -.- so the reason for msging them on msn was to tell them to print out the lyrics of my song i had written for the sisters the previous day... when i woke up early to get this cleared up i was told to go cwp to print out the sheets for the bro's to start learning it... got it printed and headed to simei, where i was around an hr late for the games... well not bad as i joined into eleanore's group jus as they were around the mrt... so off we went to play shi zi lu ko, or watever u call it... it was chinese form so i was as good as useless during that part tho i had to try out all the food they bought... argh, i hated the garlic.... zzz.. nehoo after buying the rite items and all, we went to another place where we had to find james or cedric.. i went to the top floor and was searching badly... we picked james, anc craps, i found cedric instead -.-... zzz, who joshua found james at the 4th floor, then we needed to find jon and rena.. then had to lie on the grass and pose different letters... 1st was soccer, which we couldnt form -.-, then love, then faith, and finally apple.. all of us were grass covered and extremely itchy from the grass liquid thingy...i scratched so bad even my arm started bleeding a bit... =/... we got our next clue which i easily found out was burger king at expo.. we took a cab and off we went... once we arrived there games stopped tho -.-.. we were told to meet up with other groups and eat chicken rice and have some drinks.. aye.. good timing... i was hungry =/
we enjoyed our svc after that.. pst kong continuing on about the cultural mandate... i was copying the notes like mad cuz the slides din stay on the screen too long, bt i managed to get the main msg down neway.. eh, sermon's in front of me.. but which one? i've got a huge stack of sermons from past svcs.. hmmm...nvm, lets jus say svc was about impacting culture, with Bible verses supporting that fact that besides saving and reaching out to ppl, we are to impact culture in a relevant way. powerful msg as always from pst kong... haha.. after that we went on to continue the last part of the game.. go to coffeebean and find a colured picture of a murderer.. finder as good as gets the win... after searching for like 10 mins one guy eventually found it...zzz, ah well.. after that the bros and sis of n337 separated to get ready for their respective roles in the valentine's day celebrations... the bros continued to rehearse the song i wrote while getting ready the flowers and papers. aye.. so here's wat transpired! the bros were to stand in front of the sisters and watch michelle sing a song, dedicated mostly to cheekiong, but an appreciation to all the bros too...the sis' behind all held heart shaped papers with written words and waving it back and forth as michelle sang, then when she finished we received our "cards"... aye, deeply appreciated! then for our turn we made them sit in 2 rows, cedric kang read a speech of appreciation and love to them.. then we asked them to close their eyes and hold both their hands up, we each passed a copy of the speech onto their hands and placed hand made roses onto the cards.. then with their eyes still closed we sang for them... with my song! after that at the last word of the final stanza we sprayed them =x.. lol, with those ribbon sprays... they were touched tho (i hope)... here's wat my card and the rose presented to the sisters looked like

i went off early with ai li after that and met weiliang, karen and lirong on the way back too... haha... good times..
on sunday we celebrated my dad's and sis' bday..(hers was on sat).. well, a lunch in lavender, shooping for cny clothes... which cost over rm500 for my dad and i and dinner.. i wun delve into it, my sis kinda ruined the atmosphere
monday i overslept and missed skool... tues was a bore.. tho jpi lesson wasnt bad.. and here i am now in networking blogging.. tho once i reached home i realized that my sis brought a puppy back home, i took a pic with my webcam but it ran and tripped the wire which was connected to my laptop..-.-!! its bloody cute.. tho annoying... it pees everywhere so we kept it in the toilet.. where its yelping like mad and every few mins.... driving me nuts... it'll only keep quiet when i go in and pet it... i even need to talk to it to stop it from whimpering -.-.. well... i've finally posted all i wanted to post... and here's the reason for my delay... a new blog! www.checkpointstories.blogspot.com its jus a humour blog, and i have much to add from the past.. check it out and u'll see y.. btw i post according to dates so i'll rearrange the dates to fit the event in which they happened, so u mite see a few 2003's or 2004's posts pop up.. hope u enjoy it... and i've updated every blog i've had now.. jus for the record here.. for all u ppl who havent known me long or forgotten.. i've got 4 blogs! one is this one, and u'd be seriously stupid to ask me wats the link of this blog... another is the checkpoint one i mentioned... another one is my spiritual blog www.sword-of-the-spirit.blogspot.com and as for my final one.. its where i record my songs... and ahem, none of u are gonna find out... only one lucky guy has found it b4
aye.. here's to finally blogging in ages! nitez all!

Just reached home. Quite an uncomfortable ride back. Here's why...
I got an a Causeway Link bus and was waiting for it to drive off when an Indian guy sat beside me. I was reading my Bible so I didn't really think about a stranger sitting beside me, I mean its a public bus, its expected. What I didn't expect was how hairy he was. Eurgh. Erm, arm hair I mean.
Everytime he talked to his friends on the other seats and gestured with his hands, his hair brushed passed my arm. When he took out his phone to message someone or pick up a call, his hair brushed passed my arm. When he zipped or unzipped his bag, his hair brushed passed my arm. I can deal with those, no problem. But what I couldn't stand was that because I was reading the Bible, I needed to put my arms in a position to hold the sides of the pages down. I'm told I have wide shoulders so maybe I was barely crossing over my seat "territory". The Indian guy was a big guy too, late twenties I think. Although he tried to keep his arms to himself, this led to his elbows sticking out. His elbow brushed against me many, many times when moving his hands even slightly or when I turned a page.
Please don't think I'm petty because his elbow brushed passed me countless times. I can deal with that. What I couldn't stand was this fact: Did I mention his elbows were HAIRY too?!

I played basketball earlier today, and on the way back to Malaysia, well, for some reason there was an overload of pretty girls or something. Seriously. On the bus heading to the MRT with Kwok Weng, there were three pretty girls in the bus where one kept looking at me, woots (or perhaps she was just looking at the guy who brought up the conversation of accidental castration... Okay, maybe a little too much information there). On the MRT to Kranji, there were five pretty girls within a metre of me. On bus 170, another three pretty girls. Then taking 950 back to Malaysia, one who happened to walk beside me for most of the journey back to Shell station.
Its not overtly weird, but everywhere on my journey back? Weird. But who says I mind? =x

Well, today was quite a crappy morning going to school.
First, I overslept, so I quickly rushed to shower and get ready. Once I finished and was ready, I went down to the door only to realize that I had forgotten my necklace. I never go anywhere without my necklace so I quickly ran back upstairs to put it on, then after coming down again i realized I didn't know what time it was. No clock near me, so I checked my cellphone, which
wasn't with me. Crappy huh? Well, I went back upstairs and found it connected to my charger then I went back down and I couldn't open the door... Why you ask?
Because my keys weren't with me! Oh
geez! It was seriously annoying, I went back upstairs to search a bit and found it, and stayed up there a short while to make sure I hadn't forgotten anything. Nothing left, so off I went to the bus stop a half hour walk away.
I got on the squished bus and after one stop, a really pretty girl got on and was standing on my right. Two stops later, a really ugly
aunty (sorry, you do look BAD) got on and instead of staying where she was, squeezed all the way over to my left to find a
handgrip, which was not comfortable at all considering her huge size. Now Malaysian buses don't have
handgrips secured like Singapore buses, so majority of the
handgrips were at the side of the poles... Okay, that explained why she squeezed to my left, as I was somewhere in between two poles. But what I didn't expect was that she didn't bother to move any
handgrips to her area, instead she took
mine. I mean, lady, what's your problem? You want it then ask, I'm tall enough to hold the horizontal metal pole and you make life extremely uncomfortable for the time you squished passed everyone to get to my left.
Yuck, I was
embarrassed and the pretty girl giggled a bit. Although she had been looking at me for quite a long part of the journey, I had half hoped that she wouldn't see this. So yeah, I let go of my
handgrip to have little old granny take it while I grabbed onto the horizontal metal pole, which
inadvertently forced me to turn around and so face the pretty girl. Well, I didn't mind. Hope she didn't either.
After reaching Singapore checkpoint, I was walking towards the bag scanning area and managed to see the pretty girl again walking towards the same direction. She gave a little twinkle in her eyes before I walked off.
Brilliant morning, that aunty really ruined my mood. Well, at least I had some "benefits" during that time.

I got my first hand experience driving a Mercedes Benz a while ago. I was rushing back home to avoid being grounded once again and I managed to meet my mom and sister to go back together reaching the Shell gas station where we usually meet up going back.
Well, first thing I did was get used to the Mercedes controls, and well, honestly, I sucked at it first. Instead of releasing the emergency break (which is located at a place a little higher than where the clutch would be) I somehow opened the hood of the car. Did I mention the steering wheel is so seasoned that a little tilt and the car turns a lot?!
But that's not the main thing, except from the fact I finally drove a classy and expensive car, something peculiar happened. After coming out of the Shell station, I sped off as usual. When I was about to reach the Waterfront area, I saw a big black thing coming my way. Since Waterfront's been closed, the lighting there hasn't been very good so I didn't pay much attention until I drove much nearer and I saw that it was a
cow. No I'm not kidding, I seriously saw a cow block the left lane. It was a big, black cow walking on the left lane, slowly heading further in to Waterfront, so I didn't really need to drive around it.
Thank God. I seriously wouldn't want my first car crash to happen with a cow of all things.
Just think of the headlines: Teen kid crashes into a cow, free Big Mac supply for McDonalds!
Nuh uh, ain't gonna happen.
