Aye... I was actually going to make a very long rant post yesterday, due to a lot of events lately. The trip back home last night was really one that would piss me off, and my sister came back home and also pissed me off, not to mention I read a schoolmate's blog, and just reading the content of his blog also pissed me off. No wonder Marcella dumped you. Good move.
But the messages for cellgroup and service this week were about missions. It was the mission fund pledging this weekend, where we'd pledge a certain amount of money and it would go towards missionary efforts in reaching out towards people from around the world. We were shown a video on the things the missionaries helped to do in the other countries. Very touching, very inspiring. The point of mission work is to reach out to be a blessing to them, and if possible, lead them to Christ. We should act in a way that inspires other people to imitate us as we imitate Christ. After the service today, and quite an unusual but fun fellowship with the cellgroup afterward, I just felt that I didn't need to rant anymore.
After all, it served as quite a reminder of who I should be. Granted, I know I don't follow through perfectly, but sometimes I fail in imitating Christ in epic ways, its not a pleasant feeling when you look back.
Today also served as a reminder, and hopefully, a confirmation. Never mind if you don't get that... just cross the loo.

Aye... I'm in my second bed now. Heh... aka, the big comfy yellow couch in the library. I think its the first time this year I've blogged in school, and definitely the first time on my laptop on my second bed!
Anyhoo, last weekend, after service and fellowship, Faith, Issey, James, Venetia and Hui Wearn (welcome back!) and I went to Bukit Bintang to drink and play pool, in some bar called Pinchos Tapas Bar. It's not that hip, but looks like those old tavern bars you always see in movies. It's hidden, along with a whole row of bars and grills, in Jalan Ceylon. Interesting place, but it was freaking jammed getting there. The traffic moved slower than snails, honestly. I found out later Wai Yern was stuck in the jam too, and was beside me for a while! Haha!
Speaking of drinking, my mom's friend from the US (her childhood friend) came back to do train workers, and I went to Bukit Bintang (also) a while back to meet him. Very friendly and humourous, I went to the JW Marriot where they had free food and drinks for the hotel residents. I tried my first Caesar salad, and my gosh! It's freaking delicious! Everyone knows I hate veggies, and I only eat them sparingly. However, I took like 3-4 plates of the Caeser salad, being extremely generous on all the leafy and green stuff, plus some ham and dressing. Yum~~~. I also tried gin and tonic, which is some drink I've always heard but never tried (the name is a turnoff) and it's surprisingly zesty and nice. I drank around 3 cups. Free alcohol. How can I say no?
And Sunday was an interesting day. At Sunway Pyramid, I bought all my formal attire for the church 8th anniversary this coming Sunday, the gala dinner at Sunway Hotel's ballroom. Geez. After trying on countless things, I eventually bought a suit (my very first!), formal white shirt, formal pants, formal shoes all for under RM 200, due to a huge last-day sale. You'll see how I look very, very soon...
Oh, and on Tuesday I had my advertising principles presentation, presenting Nike Bauer ice skates, distributed in Malaysia only by Skate Sports. We needed to do 6 advertisements, and do a presentation showing how they look, work and all. My group did pretty well, although I was late when I told them to come early. Deepest apologies, I have no excuse there. The other's didn't really bombard us with questions, so we were safe. Then we got mean and asked them totally out of the box, yet logical questions. HA! Like Wai Yern's group was doing Dreamstar. You make a design, and they'll design it in Hong Kong, then send it to Malaysia and there you go. They had the pricing for all the different sizes, crystals, advertisement costs, and such. But they couldn't answer my question: What's the cost of the import tax? LOL
Later on I stayed over at Ruz's home for the first time in a long time (long story), and watched Silent Hill! Woots! Pretty good movie, although they practically didn't follow the game storyline at all. It was however, still a very enjoyable movie. All the gore and monsters from the games make good appearances on screen, although the trademark Pyramid Head and nurses don't have much to do in the movie. Pyramid Head's kill scene was damn nice though. Heh!
And something creepy happened when I was over at his place too. Last time, when I stayed over, while he was sleeping, his speaker started to make deep, breathing noises, and it wasn't static for sure. After a while it faded, which is unlike static, which starts and stops suddenly. So while Ruz was accessing his blog, some weird creepy noises started coming from the speaker, something that sounded like those ghostly "wooo" sounds. When he closed his blog window, it stopped. It woulda been alright... but the thing is, his blog doesn't have any sounds at all. Yikes, anybody?

My previous post is not going to be a blog topic anytime soon -.-. Anyway, as promised, this post would be about that quiz I took in church.
There are 5 areas of life, a certain question corresponding to one. First, self, then work/school, ministry, followed by social life and family.
For my own self, I scored a 13, which is considered needs improvement. Its 2 points away from good, and the only reason was because my health questions were all low. So I don't care about my health. When was that a revelation? I've never cared for my health, and that's not changing anytime soon. So exlcluding the health questions, my "self life" is good. Alright.
For school, it was needing attention, again. Thank The One Academy for that. One of the questions was do I feel tired when I think about studying or assignments. DUH! Torturing Overload Assignments! TOA! I got a really high grade (not good for this one) 'cause of a few certain questions. Okay, school needs to be put into better perspective. Fine.
For ministry, I was in the good portion. If I could, I'd grade myself in the very good section, but I can't, 'cause there's no such thing. Oh well. I love church and I enjoy every second of it. This is good.
For my social life, its also good. No surprise there. I hang out with friends all the time in school and church. Nothing to worry about there. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for some of my friends.
For family, its average, although borderline good. I was surprised honestly. I was expecting bad or something, due to all the family troubles I've had in my life. It's very messed up. Either way, I guess my interaction with each of the family members is decent at the very least. Sadly, I can't say the same when it comes to each of them interacting with each other. Hmmm...
Anyway, Thursday we had no cellgroup. Instead, Issey, Kean Hoong and I went swimming and "gym-ing" instead. The girl's had their makeup session. Woots! LOL.
Today I attended Segi College's Revolution Party, which was an event held by Segi College's (Damansara campus) Christian fellowship. Invited by Jaclynn and Cynthia, and only Kean Hoong, Venetia, Jocelynn, Yus and I came in the end.
For the first part, they were giving away freebies and I had nothing but an eye on the CD by Acts Church. Just simply go down, introduce yourself and you'd get it. The good thing about everyone being too shy to go down was that I went down in the end, heh! I got the CD, and introduced myself, as the Canadian, who studied in Singapore but now lives in KL. Yeah. Lmao. There was some praise and worship, and later on the Acts Church senior pastor, Pastor Kenneth Chin, preached a message. He's fantastically funny, and very animated in his actions. He shared about his life story, and many funny experiences he went through. Each time he did, he would then switch to a biblical principle or something that was similar, and used that as an example. It was qutie seemless, and never seemed abrupt, but his flow was very smooth, and he was just a great blessing.
We ate after that, minus Jaclynn and Cynthia, and the topic was about Jocelynn's husband. She's been married for 10 years, so being the only one married (and attached for that matter) we asked about how she met her husband and such. Turns out that her husband is her ex-boyfriend's friend. Lmao! Then we joked what if her ex-boyfriend's wife was her husband's ex? LOL, and alot of other stuff.
I need to go to school early in the morning later on. Sigh...

I hope you like this new blogskin? I got bored of my old vampire one, so I was thinking of what to put as my new one. Ruz gave the idea of Fatal Frame. Although I finished Fatal Frame II around 2 years ago, I still love the game. I searched to find a few more pictures, and I found out that Fatal Frame 4 is out! To my dismay, only in Japan. Apparently they didn't think an international audience would like it. Zzz. Took a few hours to add in the crimson butterflies with one of the official wallpapers. The ghost in the middle is the Box Woman. A freaking scary mini-boss in the game. I like the lit candles! But I'm not sure if first-timers will know those are the navigations =/.
Anyhoo, on Thursday I hung out with Lucas, Ruz, Henry and Kok Kin in Pyramid for quite a few hours. Henry and Lucas, both Para Para Paradise pros, versused each other and Henry won by a mere 500 points! Damn close. We wanted some girls to come, because at least it would make it look normal. Having 5 guys around a Para Para machine is freaking gay! Eventually, a girl did come. But she was an extreme tomboy! That did NOT help at all =/. In fact, it might have made it worse! We crapped around in Mac later on for a few more hours, just talking about so many things and joking around.
And when I was heading to the washroom, I ended bumping into Lip Hai! I don't think any of my current readers will know who he is. He's from Riverside Secondary in Singapore, and one of the JB gang (aka the KS gang) that studied in Singapore, along with Adrian and the rest of the usuals. Lip Hai was probably the most civilized and the best one to hold a really good conversation with, lmao. We caught up and just stood near the elevators talking and updating each other on what's up. On my side, my sister has left the house most of the time, and my parents divorced. On his side, he goes back to JB fort-weekly, and his dad passed away, which I had found out when I last went back to Johor/Singapore. My deepest condolences.
Cellgroup later on that night was actually on chairs. It was my first "chair cellgroup" 'cause we didn't sit on the floor this time. Interesting.
The weekend was also good. On Saturday we had service and Keith preached. His message wasn't really a super-spiritual kinda thing. Instead, it was more like a reflective reminder of our goals in the start of the year. Also, he touched on being balanced in going for your achievements and studies, and still having a good network of friends to balance it out. We shouldn't be so emotional with our friends to the extent we forget about all we want to do. But at the same time we shouldn't be so caught up with work or studies that we don't even bother to stay connected with our friends. Those that support and encourage us.
Frankly, I know some people who should've listened to this sermon. Very enjoyable, and quite a departure from his usual style, which is usually more on practical life steps. At the end, we also took a quiz that measured how we were with our self, work/studies and social life. The details shall be my next blog post.
Most of the members didn't join for fellowship that night, so it was only Dennis, Kean Hoong, Joshua, Issey, Rebecca, Ai Lee and Sze Ying. We ate at Old Town White Coffee, which still doesn't impress me, and later went to eat at a durian buffet. RM 10 per person. And its pretty good!
Then some of them decided on going for karaoke at Neway. Take note my MSN friends! When I type "neway" it means "anyway"... because "n" and "e" plus "way" make the same sounds. Same goes for "nething" which Soo Wen thinks it means "nothing". However, in my proper-spelling blog, Neway simply is... well, Neway -.-.
As usual, since I've slacked off for singing for over 2 years, my voice sucked. Ai Lee sang very well, and was probably the best in the whole room. The food was nice, and I tried some alcoholic drink called Kampai. Very nice! Very sweet, and the alcohol enhances the flavour. Yum~. We sang from around midnight to 4am. Yawnz. 4 hours of hurting the others ears with my voice.
And also, it was a very comfortable night. Yeah. Very.

It's 6am. I'm doing figures -.-, but I'm taking a break now.
Anyhoo, I watched Ice Age 3 the other day with Miki, Ruz and Patrick. Freaking funny! Very recommended for the humour. I was going geeky by naming all the dinosaurs, and I was correct for all but one, Rudy. His shadows made him seem like a spinosaurus but he was actually a baronyx. Yeah, I bet none of you even understood what that was -.-. Anyway Scrat was even cuter and funnier than usual!
Oh, on other news, Ruz likes balze. Say that out loud. No that wasn't a typo. He really likes it. LOL.
And I finally watched Twilight. After reading the book, which I enjoy (I realize I'm the only male who's saying this) I bothered to watch the movie. Well... I prefer the book but the characters were played really well. Especially Bella and Edward. But heck, how come Jessica looks so good in the film?!
Speaking of Twilight, I've finished reading New Moon already. Much more exciting than Twilight, although reading about Bella's ever-present obsession and despondence from normal life without Edward annoyed me quite often. Nevermind... you'll only understand if you read it. And again, I'm the only male I know who's done so -.-.
On more Twilight news. I was looking through some friend's Facebook profiles and was looking through their groups. On of them was an Edward Cullen group. I was curious to see if there were any guys in the group, and surprisingly, there were none. None! I searched through 9 more groups, which in total had around 10 000 members total, and there was NOT A SINGLE MALE! LMAO! Saying I'm the only guy who's read the Twilight series is backed up by some credible evidence!
Oh, and speaking of profiles, I finally edited my profile page and changed the about me section. I change it once every year or so. Changed a whole lot of stuff, and in it I finally admit my geekdom to the cyberworld -.-.
Hmmm... what else is new? School's starting again, after the one week break.
Oh! Speaking of school, last week's moral class (yeah, during the holidays, le sigh) was full of crap again -.-. Zzz. The lecturer said that every Chinese, no matter what, so long you were Chinese was influenced in some way by Confucious. Her reasons? Chinese rape their children a lot less than other races, and that's because its one of Confucious' sayings. Hell, the Bible forbids rape and incest too you know -.-. None of my morality comes from Confucious. There's a lot of crap in addition to his wise sayings. Don't believe me? Just ask China's greatest emperor, Qin Shi Huang.
Oh, the topic for moral studies that day was religious morality. Half an hour was given to talk about Confucionism. 20 minutes for Taoism. Islam and Sikhism had 10 minutes each. Christianity only had less than 5 minutes! And it was 99% about the Ten Commandments only. Lmao? What's up with that?
I got back my results from the moral test anyway. Top 4. Aiks. Expected better.
*Yawnz* I hate figures.

Aye, it's been quite a spiritual week.
On Wednesday and Thursday, Pastor AR Bernard came to preach. Woots! His first time in Malaysia, even though I've heard him many times in Singapore. He left a 10 year career in the banking industry to join the ministry in church. He's also an advisor to Obama, and previously to Bush.
His message on those 2 days were phenomenal! Due to the day's events, I was really tired, and nearly fell asleep for both services at certain points. However, his message was pure brilliance. His topics on glory and holiness were pure theological genius, no kidding. His interpretation of some verses was also very thought-provoking and yet made perfect sense in context. I won't be listing anything here. It would do no justice to this revelation. Just, wow...
Today I had the normal church service, with Pastor Kevin continuing the final part of the Christian mind. About Christians being anti-homosexual and confusing. To keep it brief, he said that Christians shouldn't be judging homosexuals, but instead love and accept them. For if you don't love them, you have no right to correct and help them of their orientations. No force and such is allowed either, but gradual and true acceptance of them as people, not despised outcasts. Jesus hung out with sinners most of the time, and as the church, so should we.
His part on being confusing was very passionate too. Pastor Kevin was very vocal on Christians being substandard, like for example how because it was from church, they should give discounts and make it easier for them and such. He gave real examples of how when people wanted to book the church hall, they wouldn't pay a few hundred, saying it was so expensive, but had no problems paying over a thousand for a function room outside of church. He said that if the church was so "charity-minded" the church would be irrelevant and cast aside. Of course, we should be charitable, but not abused. The church gives a lot of free things away, and heavily discounts a lot of things. But there must still be a standard, and very often, Christians act and think in a way that would drop these standards.
Very enjoyable. Also, CHC now has their own water bottles! LOL! Holy water, lmao. Of course, there's no such thing as holy water, but its a funny joke. The bottles are pretty cute too. After service, since W19 and W49 together only had 6 people, we joined W32 for fellowship, and it was also Ken's birthday. Best wishes!
Oh, during fellowship after AR Bernard's service, the topic humourously turned a little dirty, and some very personal questions were asked, like whether you prefer small and natural, or big and fake? Yes, it is what you think it is. Honestly, I don't care 'cause that's not my focus or fetish. I have another focus. Heh. I'm not saying my fetish here -.-.
Daniel's also went back to Indonesia for good also, after Hansen. Aye, my newest House of the Dead 4 partner! All the best back there.

Ai Lee and I took this picture on Daniel's final day. Geez, I look horrible. But she's like freaking cute in this pic?

Okay, I guess I owe an update. Heh. On Tuesday I hung out with Ruz and Nix to do our assignments. I did figures while they did typography, which, luckily for them, isn't Lilyfied for torture. My mom was working at the skating rink shop in Pyramid that day so I followed her back. Along the way, her friend Rachel calls and asks us to join her and her friend Flora for a steamboat. This was my third in a week -.-. Geez. So we joined them. So here's something you should know first, Rachel and Flora are tomboys. Not in the guy-ish, gam-ish kinda way. I mean really short hair, very manly features (as much as a woman can have) and they're both lesbians too. I'm not discriminating, but you'll see why I bothered to mention this fact later.
After eating the steamboat, Rachel wanted to go into some pub where her girlfriend works. Man! If I had known I'd have free alcohol, I wouldn've eaten less so I could have more room to drink. So there I was, in a pub, with a lot of pretty staff, along with my mom and her friends. Trust me when I say I doubt any of you have ever (or will ever) end up in this situation.
Oh, Gary and Karnex, this place is similar to our dirty little secret place. Remember? Only much better -.-, and prettier. And no drinks for them. I'm sure you get what I mean =p.
Anyhoo, Rachel and Flora are regulars, so they know everyone. Rachel's girlfriend also introduced a lot of the staff, plus many of the pretty girls who work there. Heh! One of them was Manman, or Shanshan. I couldn't really hear, due to the music. Either way, she was the prettiest girl in the entire vicinity, no kidding. Her beauty was like Oh My Donuts! kinda pretty! Very sexy, very sultry. I was literally stunned when I saw her. Shook hands and the usual formalities, and she sat next to me. Yay! But she was chatting with Rachel and Flora the whole time -.-. So now I'm sitting in a table with 2 tomboys, a really, amazingly, gorgeous girl sitting beside me, and my mom sitting across me. Again, I doubt any of you will ever end up in this situation.
Here's the thing. Shanshan (let's just assume this is her name) is an amazingly gorgeous girl. Prettier than Fish Leong, prettier than Hebe, and it hurts to say this, but even prettier than my dearest, dear-dear Jolin! Yeah! She looks THAT good. And she's right beside me! They were showing WWE on the projector, so I watched that, and occasionally glanced at the "goddess" beside me. Lmao. I didn't want to glance too much, since my mom was across me -.-. DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS NOT TO LOOK?! Heck, that kinda willpower usually comes from monks and nuns. Again! Another situation none of you will ever end up in!
After a while all the pretty girls went to the stage and sang many songs, in succession while doing a simple dance in unison. There were 12 very pretty girls, Shanshan included, plus a gay guy (I mean it, I'm not insulting him here) who would sing on stage. After a song or two, they'd pass it to the next person in line, and it would go on and on. While singing, the customers could buy some sort of wreath (RM 20) and it'd go around the neck of the person they bought it for. There's a mega-wreath (RM 50), a tiara (RM 200) and a queen's robe kinda thing (RM 800). The more things you wear, the more the people (or person, if they're bloody rich) is supporting you. One cute girl ended up with 2 tiaras, a queen's robe, and at least 20 wreaths and 10 mega-wreaths. All bought by some drunk guy on the table beside me. Whatever is earned from that is split in half with the boss and the person who received it. My dearest Shanshan got less than the gay guy -.-. What THE!
Anyhoo, the free alcohol was nice. In the hour and a half I spent there, I drank only 20 cups, since the steamboat was freaking filling. Rachel's girlfriend kept refilling my drinks for me, heh. She'd be like "Hey boyfriend, come drink!" or "Hey boyfriend, come, bottoms up!" She was very cheerful and bubbly. Perhaps her best compliment was with me and Shanshan when we were shaking hands. She was like "Handsome boy meet pretty girl!" Lol, thank you.
My mom wanted to go off after a while so we went off first. Thanking Rachel and Flora extensively for the free alcohol (and I really mean it! Alcohollllll~). My mom refused to let me drive, even though I was extremely sober and all that food I ate earlier would ensure that I wouldn't be drunk one bit. While she was driving, I was asking about some of the staff members, and here's where I got to know about the relationships and all. Then when I asked who was Flora's girlfriend, my mom told me Shanshan. Maybe its a good thing my mom drove after all. I think I'd get into a car accident if I drove and heard that. AGAIN! How many of you will actually have the girl that smittened you in a few seconds be a lesbian!

Nnnoooooooooooo~~~~~~~~~!!
