Aye... I guess it's about time I blogged. Like seriously.

I actually wanted to post about the Genting trip, which was super fun, with a lot of pictures, but now I can't. I wanted to update my blog earlier, but I couldn't. Sigh... why? Because my laptop has died! It's in a coma!

Let me backtrack a bit first...

Last week, it was the final week of school. Of all weeks, everything had to spoil THIS week. On Monday night, my tablet had become hypersensitive. When I had yet to touch the tablet surface with the stylus, the brush would appear onscreen at with the hardest pressure applied. How could I do my work like that? I had to borrow Miki's Wacom in order to complete it on time, plus the assignments I owed.

Sounds bad? It gets worse.

The next day after the final advertising visual class, I was in the library with Wai Kwan, Fei Yan and Zi Yuan, all of us rushing for our corporate identity work, due the next day for Zi Yuan and I. *Sigh*... it went alright. I managed to finish 1/3 of the work there, but as for the remaining things, they were all half completed, and I'd finish them at home. Thing was, as I was printing out the finished work, the library had closed. So Zi Yuan closed my laptop lid, and pulled out the plug, and helped take it out.

Innocently, she thought she had made it go to sleep mode. The thing I didn't tell her was that my battery had some problems lately, and it couldn't be charged. When using an adapter, it was as good as a portable desktop, it would work with a socket, but not with the batteries. So in pulling out the plug, it was actually cut off from the power supply.

We had a long chat in KFC while eating, and I wanted to turn on the laptop, but it didn't turn on. I thought it was due to the position of the wire, 'cause back in Genting, when my wire was in a certain awkward position, it wouldn't work. Smoothen it a bit, and it was fine. It was cramped on the table, so I assumed that was the problem, and I'd continue at home. I accompanied her home, went back home myself, and rested for an hour.

After resting, it was like 1am. I set up my laptop and turned it on. Or, I tried to. I rearranged the wire, and smoothened it. I turned it on again. Nothing. I started to get a little concerned. So I waited a few minutes, and turned it on again. Nada. The adapter was getting warm, which meant electricity was flowing through it, but my laptop wasn't turning on. Great. I attempted to turn it on for half an hour, but I gave up. I needed to pass up my work in 8 hours, and my laptop was asleep. Permanent sleep!

I called Miki to borrow her desktop, but I wasn't allowed to do it overnight in her place, 'cause it'd disturb the family, so in order to borrow her computer, I had to detach all the cables, wires and everything, and carry it in the car, bringing it back home. So it was around 2am now. All my in-progress work was in my coma'ed laptop, so I had to start anew with Miki's desktop. Add printing time and traveling time, I only had 6 hours to finish my work. Great.

Miraculously, I did manage to finish everything, although applying the design to my transport system was not quite well done. Anyhoo, I went to school slightly late, and Gabriel, the lecturer, was pretty pissed. He cares more about punctuality than your work. You can be late, have everything done, and he'll be unhappy. Come on time and only show one envelope with your design, and he's fine. Hmmm... interesting in a weird way.

So I was dead tired, not having slept since I woke up on Monday, and I was half asleep while presenting. Don't know where my "spontaneous presentation confidence" went. I almosted yawned while presenting, but I managed to add in some humour too, mainly due to one of my signs looking like a male penis. You read that correctly. It looked fine on the computer screen, but once printed, it really looked like the male genital anatomy -.-. Zzz.

A bit short, but I made it through, and had lunch with Neal and Henry. From today onwards, Neal wouldn't be my classmate anymore, since he'd finished the only subject that he'd be sharing with my class. So now in class, it gets even more lonelier. Lmao.

The next day I followed Miki to school to help her out with her photography, and because I'd be going to church later anyway. I had lunch with a lot of the usuals, who I think haven't had a big gathering in quite some time altogether. Neal, Wai Kwan, Miki, Fei Yan, Henry, Alex and I. Good times! Sort of. Not for a lot of the Class 1 students. *Sigh*

So that's the end of my bad days right? WRONG!

On Friday I went to Miki's house to help her with her typography work, but kinda slacked halfway through, and watched American Pie 7 instead. Lol, great movie! It's almost like going back to its roots, with great humour. Anyhoo, she drove me back home as she went to school. Thing is, I stayed over Justin's place a while back, and I left my keys there. The spare I'd been using is missing the wooden door's key. My mom went for work while I was out at Miki's place. When I went back, every single thing was locked. Including the wooden door. Great. Now I'm locked out of my own house!

By the time I wanted to call Miki to turn around, I figured it'd be rude and inconvenient, so I waited and told my mom. She was at Subang Parade. Uncle Ben was at Pahang. My mom would be back at 10pm, and Uncle Ben wasn't coming home, according to her. The car was still at home 'cause I needed it later. The car keys were inside the house. Now what?

I couldn't drive, so I had to WALK to the LRT, transfer to the terrible KTM and go to Subang Parade! Just to pick up the keys from my mom and go back, the same way I went. Walking all the way. Gee whiz. Why didn't I call Miki once I reached to follow her back home after school? 'Cause my phone battery died on the way. Because of my dead phone battery, I wasn't able to receive a call from my mom who was trying to tell me Uncle Ben actually came back and unlocked the door just for me, while I was on the way to Subang.

WHAT SUCKY DAYS! THREE DAYS IN A ROW!

It all sucked, but I'm laughing now. Seriously. I think I take life too casually. I find it funny now.

Things got better after that though. I went to IMU to support Lionel's basketball game, and later we went to Republic for a drink, and went clubbing at Poppy later. I totally enjoyed it. A lot.

And why did I enjoy it so much? Details of that another day.

This is supposed to be like an all-crappy-sucky-day post. Lol.

Lol... okay, I know I'm like way behind in updates. Seriously.

And guess what? I'm still not updating properly yet! Haha... I'm a bit lazy, and next week is the final week for the semester, so I need to do my assignments (which is on hold while I type this excuse for an update). I've got quite a lot happening lately, that I haven't typed down yet. Like the Genting trip (which was super fun by the way), having my first (and now, subsequent) shisha session, helping Miki with her photography, and Friends Night yesterday. Yeah. Quite a lot to cover =/. Lazy!

Okay, I guess I'll update something pretty short. I went out with Kai Yih the other day, for her treat of Popeyes! Had a good chat. I was an English teacher for a while -.-, lol.

Okay, expect a real update after next week. I might pepper in some small stuff during this week. Eh, see how it goes.

Anyhoo, happy birthday Halal Yaoi Fiery Nipple Boy! And Candice, lol.
