I don't quite know why I'm blogging about it now. This year, I've gone to Genting twice, with a different group of people. The first time, it was with Fei Yan, Shana, Ai Li, Aaron and Estee. Later on in the year, I went with Justin, Miki and Bruce. I had tons of fun on both occasions, and different experiences with both of them.
Why? Hmmm... mainly because a few days ago I saw that someone looked through my archives. Specifically looking for March 2010. I read through my posts at that time and remembered that I said I was going to post about the Genting trip, but never got to. Plus, I realized I said the exact same thing about the second Genting trip. So I thought, I might as well.
Back in March, Fei Yan invited me to join her friends to go to Genting for a few days. I had met all of them before, except for Aaron, in that time I went to Euphoria with Kai Yih and all of them. I was free, and I didn't mind meeting them again, so I agreed. We met up in 1 Utama and arrived in Genting an hour later. First stop was the hotel rooms! Ai Li and Aaron, being the couple, took one room while Fei Yan, Shana and I shared another room. Yay?
For the first night we didn't actually do that much. It was more of talking and getting to know them better. I mean, I knew all of them, but I didn't actually know anything else apart from their names. Yeah. That's it. So I got to know them much better. I found out about how they got to know each other, how they've been friends all these years and interestingly, their conflicts and arguments. I was pleased that they were nice and open, and trusted me as this was pretty much the first time we had a proper conversation. Fei Yan also met her friends Shaun and Wee Giap, so they kinda hanged out with us more than the group they came with. Lawl.
We went out and enjoyed the night air, which was cooling and damn nice. We walked around a bit, and had a few chats here and there. Shana actually fell ill and threw up. So we took care of her and being the "man of the room" (lmao), I took care of her a bit more, offered her water and stuff. Anyway, I had assignments left undone, so I actually brought my laptop up and decided that once everyone was finished with their activities and went to sleep, I'd stay up and do my assignments, therefore not spoiling the fun and doing my work at the same time. Surprisingly, Shana offered to stay up with me just to chat. I mean she seemed tired and she was unwell, but she still offered to accompany me while I did my assignments. I was grateful, because at least I had someone to talk to while doing my work, and she critiqued a bit on my assignments too. Plus, there's a pretty girl staying up to talk to you. How can you not like that? We talked and shared a lot. We told each other about our family lives. Hers borders on tragic I think. But yet it's so full of faith too. I was fascinated at her life experiences and her stories, and I shared about mine too. About the whole Zoe incident, and the stuff I went through before. It was a great, great time, and when I finished my assignments, we still talked a bit more before heading to sleep in the wee hours of the morning.
I had forgotten that a lack of sleep happens when you sleep so late. Estee was arriving in Genting that morning, and she was hyper as hell. She rang on our doorbell and was like jumping on our bed, pestering all of us to wake up. Wow, I mean, seriously, haha. I was so groggy, and kept requesting to sleep a bit more. Eventually we got up and had breakfast. After that we headed to the theme park! It was fun, but it sucked for me too. You know why? Because for some weird reason, whenever we were lining up for the rides and stuff, the line would always cut-at me. Yeah, only at me. Geez. All of them would go into the rides and then when it was my turn to go, they cut the line. 3/4 of the rides were taken alone. LOL. Dang, no fun when all your friends took it before you. Haha... oh well. Amazingly bad coincidence.
We went back to the hotel room where we rested. Fei Yan later joined Shaun and Wee Giap to have another round, but the rest of us were all tired. So we spent the evening hanging around the indoor park. Then we played a bit of blackjack and after that, had another nightwalk, altogether, apart from Aaron and Ai Li, who were off dating and Wee Giap, who was off dating too. I don't know who brought fireworks but he did, and we played with it near some bridge. Heck, we even took pictures! And just as the last picture was taken, with Shaun posing beside the fireworks, a police officer came up. Aiks. he asked what we were doing there. I don't know whether it was stupidity or honesty, but I said "Fireworks." Then he looked at me as if he didn't understand. Then I said (probably stupidly this time) "You know, fireworks. Boom?" The rest of the group were like about to burst out laughing but we kept it cool and he let us go, saying we should play somewhere else instead. Whew! Me and my big mouth. Then we decided to do something even stupider.
To prank Wee Giap, Shaun smsed him and said that while we were playing with fireworks, we encountered a police officer. Okay, that part was true. Then he added that we were taken by the police officer and brought to the police station. Now that part is definitely not true. When Wee Giap replied we were all laughing and stuff, deciding to tell him the truth once we came back. "Came back" took quite some time and Wee Giap was quite pissed off that we played a prank on him. Because you know what he did? He bashed and continually rang on Aaron and Ai Li's door, saying we were in the police station and panicking on he could do. Ai Li was pretty relaxed however, and that pissed off Wee Giap, that she wasn't concerned. So when we all came back we talked about it with one another, realizing it wasn't the best idea. In addition, Wee Giap had an issue with Ai Li too, and Ai Li was just whatthell-ing what we did. The next morning Fei Yan, Shana and I left first, and had a meal in 1 Utama. And after a good hearty conversation, went back.
And as for my Genting trip with Justin, Miki and Bruce, see the next post. This is pretty long by itself already.

Lol, okay updates!
Three weeks back Jonas had told us that G6 in MidValley was having their offical opening, and was having free flow alcohol for two hours! Woots! Justin and James were supposed to come also. However, everyone ditched last minute, and I didn't want to go alone. Zzz. So yeah, I just joined my cellgroup for fellowship instead. Later on, Zoe told me her friend was at Mist and it was free flow VSOP. I was like, sure, why not. I already got screwed over anyway. We were then told that her friend could only get us into the club guest list after 2 hours, and even then, it might not be assured. Aye, we said forget about it also. So yeah, two chances for FREE free flow alcohol, and I missed both! What a total bummer!
We also celebrated Stephanie's birthday after the bummer incident. A friend of James; Justin, Jonas Redzuan and I went to sing at a midnight karaoke with her. Of course, I was the worst at singing, but I enjoyed myself plenty. We sang plenty of heavy metal songs, whilst a number of pop songs too. And piggyback rides pwn.
Speaking of alcohol, on Saturday, Zoe's friend Ashleigh came up from Singapore. I met her before, briefly, but we never got to keep in contact. Regardless, we met up after service ended. Supposedly, we were supposed to fellowship with W31 at Murni's in SS2. But, they told me that they were going to Murni Discovery, which is the new branch at Taipan. So, Zoe, Ashleigh and Calvin followed my car to the Taipan branch, and later on, nobody had reached, which was weird 'cause they left before us. We even ordered for Faith and Heng, who were coming late. After calling them we found out they were at the SS2 branch, which doesn't have the word "Discovery" on their signboard -.-. Zzz. So it was just a small-time fellowship! With four people.
Even though it was just four people, it was pretty alright. I had plans to meet Michelle Moy and Aaron, and introduce them to Redzuan. Miki and Justin weren't free, so it was just us. Zoe wanted to bring Ashleigh to Bangsar, but that'd require me driving them, and I was supposed to drive us to Damai for drinks and shisha. Of course, priority goes to the tourist, and I asked Ashleigh to join us instead, and all hang out together, to which she agreed. So we got ready and I drove them to Damai.
We drank and shisha-ed at Damai, at a place called Starlight or something like that. It's this little cottage restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Seriously. But the place is damn chilling. It's an awesome environment, excluding the mosquitoes (who only bit the girls). After having beers and shisha, we wanted to get more alcohol involved, but they had no liquor at Starlight. We were thinking of buying cheap booze from a nearby shop and bring it over, but we somehow got into the conversation of drinking games instead, and along with my comment of "I've still got whiskey at home", the choice was obvious. We drove back to Cheras, and bought some mixers and ice, and went back to my place where we played I Have Never, Ping Pang Wa and The King and I.
Firstly, to get all of us drinking, we played I Have Never. Basically each person takes turns to say "I have never..." and something. Whoever has done that something must drink. So one of Ashleigh's turns was like "I have never had sex". And no one drank. So I was like "Are we all virgins?!" LOL!
Later on we played Ping Pang Wa, a game taught to us by Redzuan. It's basically a passing on an action game of sorts, and whoever messes up drinks. After a few rounds to sufficiently have everyone slightly intoxicated, we moved onto The King and I.
I am no stranger to The King and I. In fact, I'm often a victim of it. After learning the game in Debbie's birthday chalet a few years back, it's been my favourite dare game, although I end up doing crazy stuff. And lucky me, I often get the worst -.-. And unfortunately (except for gays and girls watching) they often involve guys. And this time round, history repears itself. Throughout the entire night from 3am-6am, we did unspeakable things! LOL. Dang. Lots of guy on guy action, and very little girl on girl action. The only guy on girl action was with the couple, Aaron and Michelle. So yeah. Fun and entertaining as hell. I need an assurance of manhood.
Gimme some hot chicks!

I'm doing males (and lesbians) everywhere a public service. She's hot! (And I have no idea who she is)

Interesting fact: William Shakespeare was the first recorded person to use insults about people's mothers.
"Yo' mother's so fat, that when she walked across the TV, the movie ended."
Okay, I owe updates. Lots of them!
And the last few days, my mouth has come into contact with waaaaay too many things/people.
Lmao.
