So, while I was in Singapore, I realized there's a lot of stuff I haven't updated in the last few weeks while I was in KL. And yes, I mean a lot.
I was chilling out in Sunway as usual, and after most of Symposium had left, it was just Justin, Nikke and I chatting until the wee hours. That's normal for me isn't it? Yeah, but normally I leave at 1am or 2am. That day I left at freaking 4am, after losing track of time, due to a great conversation we were having about our greatest regrets and greatest sins, as well as a long "debate" on morality. Needless to say I was a complete zombie at work the next day. Thank God for coffee.
Speaking of work, I had a company dinner of sorts. A very unofficial one. Yang Yang was organizing a dinner for all of us at Delicious, in Mid Valley, but at the last minute, all the account executives couldn't make it (and by last minute, I mean hours before the dinner itself). It was due to work, but I still found it extremely what the hell. Anyway, so only the designers went out in the end, along with Jerome, the guy who resigned when I just joined. It was a good time, and the food was good, although pretty small in portion. It was nice to just chat and get to know the rest better, and Jerome told us quite a bit of the history of how Creative Thumbprint was like before. Very interesting news!
Later on I went for jamming. We now call ourselves Forsake Me Not, and there's a new lineup too. Joseph, Ryan and I still remain, but Li Hui has become our newest bassist, and Hadi is a person we just met, and he's the newest drummer. Things seem to be going good so far, but we desperately need to catch up and teach the songs to the new members, as Justin has organized the Festival of the Tritone 2, and it's in 2 weeks time. His new band is Sacwrath, and alongside us, there's also Kolbenfaust and Unexpected Mercy. All metal, all cool. Heh. Let's just hope it's fun, and a good experience.
I also attended Shana's farewell party. She went off to the US last year, mere months after I personally got to know her better. And she recently came back for a visit. Even though we were introduced briefly 2 years ago, we only really became friends during the Genting trip. And its been great since then, as I'm still invited to meet the Genting group whenever there are big events or plans, which I feel grateful for. Anyhoo, we went to Souled Out at Sri Hartamas, and as usual, the food was brilliant. I thought I'd be a bit late due to work, but turns out that everyone was late (lol). We sat in separated tables, as there wasn't enough room to fit everyone on one huge table. Managed to catch up with a lot of people, as well as hearing out the relationship problems of Aaron and Ai Li. This time round I also got to chat up properly with Jazzlyn, Jules and the rest. In the previous gatherings, we were always acquaintances, knowing each other existed, the hi's and stuff, but no proper chats. This time we did, and it was pretty cool getting to know them better.
What also helped us to talk (and be stupid) a lot. Tangachi! Apparently its the nice of some super strong alcoholic drink that'll get people high, puking and/or drunk extremely quickly. And they don't reveal what its made out of too. So long ago I accepted the challenge to take the drink. And I was the first victim too -.-. So you get a martini glass, and they shake up the drink in the shaker thingy, and they pour it into the glass, and you must drink it with a straw, making sure that you drink fast enough so that it doesn't overflow. I finished mine in 11 secs. Which is pretty close to the record of 9.5 secs. Those who tried it out as well were Shana, Jazzlyn, Jules, Shaun and Chang Ee. Suffice to say the girls died (figuratively) after that. Lol. Shana puked. Jazzlyn and Jules were drunk to the point they were poking each others boobs and making things fall off the table. They couldn't even walk straight, despite trying multiple times. Heh. As for Chang Ee and I, although we affected a bit (its a bit like a constant mild high in my head), but we needed to get hammered more. So we each took another one! LOL. my record was worse than before, by around a second or two. But to my credit (more like bragging rights), I had the best timing out of all the people that tried it that day, so yeah. Heh. Later on I took a shared one, so in total I had 2 and a half tangachi's. Along with a few other alcoholic drinks. My head was swimming in a constant high, but I didn't feel I needed to puke, nor was I drunk, dazed or the such. It was just that buzzing high in my head. Anyhoo, the conversations I had with the others later were hilarious and deep. We proceeded to a mamak later to eat, and we shared jokes for like a few hours. Oh, what a great time. And do take care very much, Shana.
Oh yeah, the church has finally moved to our new building! I'll be making a separate post for that, 'cause there's a lot more details I need to fill in there.
But yeah. I think that covers most of what's been happening the last few weeks. Nitez!

Singapore, Festival of the Tritone, Tyranny of the Eight, Miki, broken hard disk, James' birthday, Khar Loo, Essenism, tarot cards, Kai Yih, Caffeines, work. Oh God, so much to update.
Since I've been back from Singapore, there's been a ton of events and incidents that have happened. Some fun, some great, some sad, and some horrifying. Yeah, I said horrifying. Not to me, but the incident that happened to my friend. Seriously. Who the hell whacks their own daughter?
I'm still FREAKING tired though, so I guess proper updates will need to wait. I fell asleep in the office a few times today. Freaking exhausted. And I have much to catch up on my blog. Lmao.
Nitez people.
