Lol, it's been quite a while since I played dare games. Although I've had a few rounds with JobsCentral the last few months, the last dares with Symposium have been ages ago. Well, yeah. Now I remember why we haven't done it so regularly. Well, Symposium is mostly a sausage fest, so yeah. Lmao. We were at Ming Tien, along with a new friend of Redzuan's named Arathy, doing stupid stuff with one another, making out and asking all kinds of questions. Then we did something that got us banned from Ming Tien. LOL. Izhak picked dare for Truth or Dare, and we told him to go inside the shelterd section, put his hand inside his pants and do a jerk-off motion for 5 seconds. He challenged us by saying "5 seconds only?" And we said fine, 10 seconds, and he repeated himself, up to the point he was content with 30 seconds. Oh, and he had to do a really weird noise, like "AAEEEHHHH" (think of PewDiePie or Filthy Frank) while doing his jerk-off motion. Now take note, this was about 5am, and we were the only customers left. The only people at Ming Tien were the ladyboss, one old aunty, and a young man who was washing the floor. While all of Symposium was dying of laughter, the ladyboss wasn't impressed. The floor washer was laughing with us, and the old aunty was amused but not laughing. The ladyboss was so furious, so began yelling and taking pictures of us. In response, some of Symposium began taking pics of her. Hahahaha. But yeah. We had to make a move, just in case she really did call the police on us or something due to some people drinking, who aren't religiously allowed to.
So we went to Lai Kong, our secondary Ming Tien, which I've disliked for many years already. Continued our drinks until 7 in the morning and I went home to sleep. And thus oversleeping for church, where I supposed to wake up at 9.
I've also begun hanging out with Sharon once in a while, since we're back to being friends again, to the same level that we were at before we got together, so it's chill now. Well, one funny incident happened. She asked me out to Tryst (how fitting), a cafe I went to with Kevyn, Nikke and James a while back. So although I've never tried them, Sharon said they serve fantastic pancake. And she posted up a picture of me with a status saying that she was "... dating not her ex but her pancake!" Even though there was no pancake in the picture -.-. So yeah, due to her sentence structure it sounded like she was calling me the pancake. And so my colleagues began calling me pancake, and even Sharon has begun calling me pancake. Also, due to a funny incident, where I said she was like a lamb being brought to the slaughter, she's now lamb chop. So yeah. Despite breaking up and having no feelings for each other, we now have names for each other again. From "darling" and "beebee"to "lamb chop" and "pancake". Lmao.
A week ago I went out with Masyirah at Cyberjaya's Serai. We had seen each other a few weeks back with her girlfriend, Nurun, but Nurun was on a trip to Turkey, so Masyirah was all alone. Heh, so I took her out. I've owed her a meal for a while, and we've talked about having dinner for quite some time. But finally, we got to go out today. I would've gone out with her long ago, but of course, Sharon didn't approve even if it was just a friend. Eh. Had a good chat, and discussed a lot of things regarding love, hijabs, and relationships. A very varied discussion, lol. But it was a good time spent, and I enjoyed my dinner with her.
Ataraxique was also kept busy with out Rock the World Underground Battle of the Bands. As we've been songwriting mostly, we haven't jammed our songs in a while. Sharon had signed us up for this quite a while back but we kinda forgot about it until they mentioned we were still on. So we heard that we'd play one song, and they'd judge us from that. Okay, sure, fine. What we weren't told until a few days before was that each band had a 2 minute time limit. We were like "What the hell?" 2 minutes? That's it? That ignores so much. Hell, some songs intros are like 2 mins. As a progressive metal band, our songs are like 7 or 8 mins long. It was bloody ridiculous. How much can you judge from 2 mins? But hell, we said just try anyway. We shortened our song, Lust, to 2 mins 37 secs, and got Justin to session for us as Ko'e was busy and Justin had offered to help us before. We woke up early, and performed. Unfortunately, we didn't make it. They picked 3 others. I checked out their music, and while one was fantastically awesome, the other two weren't really outstanding. We had heard comments that we were one of the better bands there, and even the sound tech said that our band was the only one he applauded to. *Sigh*. Oh well. Congrats to the chosen winners.
Oh, I've also been more active in the science group I joined, APOSL. Pepper had posted something about some group showing a viewing of Richard Dawkin's Christmas lectures from 1991. They're called Black Hole Theatre, and it's basically a gathering of like-minded science lovers who come together to watch documentaries, and discuss things. I'm a fan of Richard Dawkins, and he was the first atheistic author I actually read, so I checked it out. There were about 6-7 people there, and we watched Dawkin's presentation on designoid objects; how things look designed but are the result of natural processes. Nothing new from what his books have already said, but it was interesting to see him present it (with darker hair, lol) to a group of youths, and using ancient computers (lol). I had to rush off afterwards though, because I needed to attend Jai's bachelor party. I don't know, but it's kinda funny to be invited to a bachelor party where you're not actually invited to the wedding. It was mostly just drinking and eating pizzas. Also, shit ton of joints, provided by Joanna and her boyfriend. They started a train, and there was plenty of alcohol. Buzzed and enjoying it. Perfect. I went off around 6am, 'cause I still had church to attend later on, in a few hours. Lmao. We've started our Arise and Build, to collect more funds to pay off the church building.
